It's now one year exactly since the very first session of S&S. Since then we've met strange creatures such as zombies, gnomes, wyverns, githyanki, mummies, demons, devils, elves, ghosts, pixies, giant squids... and we've killed them and taken their stuff.

So first of all, give yourselves a pat on the back. Or a nice happy group hug, if that's your thing. 52 sessions and 6 levels gained. 171 dead monsters and NPCs, if the stats are to be believed. 522,173gp worth of loot acquired, from a quick perusal over the loot topics. And that's not counting spellbooks, boats, and priceless artifacts.

Really, I don't have much to say other than long may it continue, and perhaps express a slight regret at failing to kill you all as you so clearly deserve, but I do invite any feedback people want to bring forward. An anniversary is a good time for looking back and taking stock, after all, and naturally I want to do what I can to ensure the game remains enjoyable for all.

And so, I turn the floor over to you - the players who made it all possible!

Yaaay, here's to more years =)

Well, Goodbye.

We didn't get to kill any ghosts or pixies that I remember! Let's rectify that! And take their stuff, yeah.  >_>

Recalling how S&S began, hard to believe that we've just finished a plane-hopping plot and got involved in an even larger one, now, isn't it? One day I'll survive to see Amonet's plot, too! It's easy, I just have to not die. Though I kinda want to see what G's plot would be, unless the boat of cha-loaded people IS his grand plot. In that case, G's plot is awesome.

Here's to leveling and living on to kill lots more monsters. And people. But only if they're bad.

I bet we'll eventually transcend traditional wealth and be measured by the number of non-failing followers we each have.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Int is so underappreciated. :(

Er, anyway, I've liked it so far, and I'm looking forward to exploring Faerun with more political weight behind us, in the form of 'we've got a boat and crew which have more martial power than your entire city-state, you're so our bitch'.

It's been an episodic game, as expected of a weekly thing, but it looks like we'll have a more large-scale, interactive world now, so I like the way things are headed.

Oh! And if the GM thinks he should be trying harder to kill us, then I'll make the GM regret that he didn't let me play a swordsage at the start of the game! Aha! Ahahahahahaha! REPENT!
[19:14] <Annerose> Aww, mouth not outpacing brain after all?
[19:14] <Candide> My brain caught up

G's plot is awesome.  The boat is only a step.  Wait until we build G's fortress.  Womanned only.  High cha required.

He will eventually acquire the elven pimp hat and the orcish pimp cane too.

Anyhow, yeah I should grab more plot/give eb more to work with with G, but he's doing remarkably well for not having much more written than the first hour of work on him. =)

Well, Goodbye.

In honor of this, (and since I was doing a slight bit already and started getting carried away), Gourash's skimpy history and personality section is getting an upgrade.  Subject of course to GM approval... =p  Not quite up yet but should be in the next day or so.
