The Spore Explosion

So, I've heard like nothing but bad news on spore.

I have it though.

I have decided I must see it.  I'm not sure why.

So, for maximum comedy, I shall try and write up silliness on my run through it.

I am also starting a betting pool on how long I last until my rage destroys it.

Current bets:
J_sensei: 42 hours
Slayer: 4 hours
Stalker: 12 hours
Brian: 5-6 hours

Winner gets something.  I'll figure it out.  It may be spore sent by rocket. =D

My bet: Drac will say, "Eh, it's got some small flaws, but mostly, I'm bored with it, now."

I give it around 5-6 hours.

I've heard lots on Spore, all of it good, except for the DRM.  Personally, I lost interest in it when it became overhyped.  But I react that way to anything that gets too much hype.

Heh, there was a sidetrack during a meeting here which mostly was "man, spore isn't really fun."

Anyhow, I'll make Anti-Spirals.

Or something else.  A suggestion is open until I make them and begin their ascension!

Thusly, you will be most successful if you construct Skysaber. Or Bjorn. But not both, or the energies released if they ever come in contact will restart the Large Hadron Collider. Or destroy the Earth. Either/or.

Okay, Bjorn shall be the dutifully elected tyrant of the Anti-spirals.  Got it.

Added bonus if you construct Skysaber: the simple circumstance that he is "evolving" in Spore is sure to cause him unimaginable psychic pain.

But then I'm playing SKysaber.

And that would cause ME unimaginable real pain.

So, Day 1:

Hour-half installing.  Ugh.

And then repeated fighting with its internet authorization.

As I'd already beaten my way through an entire act in Wario at this point, I just kept going.

Tomorrow, I try to start the Anti-spiral empire again. :)

mmm, I wonder if I'll get there.  Something's been destabilizing my computer but fierce, and securom has 'last installed' blame. :( Oh well.

So...uh.

What happened here was really kinda a shame.

Mother 3 came out.  Yeah.

I'll try and get this rolling since it is totally installed and I managed to get past its security of "WE don't really want you to play the game we made."

I'll probably tie that into the narrative.
I mean sheesh, finishing one game about the end of existance and time to start another on building it from scratch?  There we go now :P
