Lord Flasheart dives off the catwalk! He plummets down! As he falls, he happens to twist in the air and get a look up. On the bottom of the catwalk are a few web-balls, glimpses of something held within them. If only Flasheart had the time and leisure to check them out! Alas, plummeting down a deep, dark chasm has infinite priority.  For his part, Flasheart at least only feels a jarring agony after several seconds of falling. That's a good thing, right? Right?

* Hatbot --> "Kokokoko rolls 20d6+6d6 and gets 94." [20d6=6, 5, 5, 2, 1, 5, 4, 5, 4, 4, 4, 2, 5, 6, 2, 1, 3, 2, 5, 2][6d6=3, 2, 4, 4, 6, 2]

Let's be honest here, the numbers hardly matter. Flasheart is now splattered like a bug on the windshield of life. Starry void, you.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

"Did we forget?" Euphemia asks, staring into the spot the man was just standing moments earlier. "That was an option?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Carthrat

"I'm not going to get him."
[19:14] <Annerose> Aww, mouth not outpacing brain after all?
[19:14] <Candide> My brain caught up

Corwin

"Yes, too troublesome," Euphemia agrees. "So we're back to climbing and throwing me down a rope?"

Ranmaru turns around at the Lord's comment, just in time to see him fling himself to his doom, "I...see. I will admit that had not even considered this as an option." Looking down over the side, Ranmaru calls out, "Um, Lord Flasheart? I don't suppose there's any way you landed safely down there?

"Yes." Sizing up the wall, Sacchin decides to try and climb it!

Take 10 for 15.

What walls, Sacchin? The catwalk stretches over the expanding void - there's no walls close to climb down.

I left the catwalk and went to the other door with the climable shaft in it.

Hearing no answer, Ranmaru shakes his head and goes back to Sacchin and Euphy, "Shall I duck back to that device and summon the Lord back? Actually, how do you use that?"

"Wait a bit until we see whether climbing here will get most of us horribly dead, first?" Euphemia suggests, eagerly anticipating the outcome of Sacchin's heroics.

Sacchin climbs up to the upward slanted tunnel and goes up it! It goes for fourty feet, before coming to a dead end. The center of the dead end has a pullring, as if the wall is meant to be tugged open. The metal here is rusty and with a thin coating of watery dew over it.

"Need new rope," calls Sacchin, leaning back down the tunnel to get some off one of her companions.

Once acquired, she ties the rope to the ring and slides back to ground level. "Not sure what behind door there. Water, maybe," she notes. "Stand back?"

Ranmaru stands back. Well back.

"How about we return all the way and prepare to summon Lord Flasheart?" Euphemia suggests. "If there is enough water to flood the chamber he perished in, we might well swim across rather than try and walk endlessly. And we'll swiftly bring you back if you die in the process, of course."

Barring strongly-worded objections, Euphemia intends to head back, with Ranmaru if he is agreeable, and wait a few minutes before checking up on the dead people.

Carthrat

"Not liking this," mutters Sacchin, as the others walk away. "Always die alone. So unfair."

Sighing, she pulls at the rope after they're clear.
