[20:57] <Ko-brb> There's a fairly nice library in the back, plenty of books to peruse...One in particular has an interesting title: "Esotrica Dragonologics."
[20:58] <Seira> Books with stupid titles often provide helpful clues! Seira goes to check it out. And wastes a cantrip to make sure there are no dangerous auras around the books she reads, too.
[21:02] <Ko-brb> The book is not magical, Seira finds.
[21:08] * Seira ... reads it!
[21:09] <Ko-brb> Inside the book looks to be various notes on dragons. Firstly, on a scribbling of dragon names, you note 'Kondrux' can be noted. (More)
[21:14] <Ko-brb> 'Dragons are the mightiest creatures in all the world bar only one. AS they fade from memory more and more, the legends grow. The strongest remaining are said to live at and beyond the fairest star. The twin red and golden dragons, awaiting.' (More)

[18:12] <Kotono> Dragonblood invariably dominates. Those who have dragon in their lineage will be touched unto the seventh generation. It can consume, for better and for worse.
[18:18] * Seira looks for any handy ways of checking for dragons in one's lineage.
[18:24] <Kotono> It mentions that various divination spells are generally used. It doesn't go into great detail, however.
[18:25] * Seira memorises the information, anyway, and then checks to see whether any draconic bloodlines are listed, such as for Ajan. She also tries to find every piece of information the book has on Ajan, the dragon pair of the fairest star, and the late Kondrux. And more about the fairest star and beyond it, if the book mentions that.
[18:47] <Kotono> There's only one more piece of useful information to be found. In simple writings and in Common, 'The dragonblooded risks everything for power.'
[18:51] * Seira seems mildly upset, but has already received decent information where she expected to find none. Her curiousity, however, spurs her to examine the other titles on magic and elven history, and compare them to those she has in her possession or came across and read previously.
[18:53] <Kotono> There's a few interesting treatises on elven history, but nothing overwhelmingly new or exciting.
[18:55] * Seira busies herself on leafing through the account of Mystra's prolongued affair with her elven brethen until Alicia returns.
