Dracos

Just a place to flesh out and list some of the NPCs in the game (thusfar).  I'm doing a long list of youkai, but no reason we couldn't list the scientists and school friends as well, something to help ko and also ourselves :)

Scientists

Robert Sakaki - Somewhat Paranoid scientist and a friend of Tomoko Matsumoto, he met the party a couple weeks ago and has been helping them with odd things since then.  He is very energetic about doing scientific studies of magic, and speaks his mind very openly.  While this makes some uncomfortable with him, he's proven repeatedly to be an ally of Clear Skies.

Tomoko Matsumoto - Eccentric genius scientist, loner, misanthrope, and Noriko's mother.  A very precise woman, the development and advancement of Noriko has been the center of her life for many years.  She continues to write papers sharing her research and welcomes the group into her home when they drop by.  She's been targeted a few times by those using her to get to Noriko, but has so far escaped serious harm.

Cops

Detective Kurimitsu - A gruff/serious fellow who talked with Clear Skies following their very public clash with the Kawazam's giant golem.  He was interested in trying to press charges on Kawazam, and agreed to help Clear Skies out.  Currently is sharing information on Kawazam's forces moving through the city.  A down to earth fellow, he seems to believe in the police's ability to handle things.

Detective Mabiki - Cheerful detective and fan of clear skies, he's Kurimitsu's partner.

School Friends
Aisutori and Noriko are in class 10-C.  Enro is in class 13-C (For now anyway).  Kanae hasn't yet been seen in a school scene.

Reika - A shy girl in class 10-C, she made friends with Kanae during her first day there and has become a fan of Clear Skies after seeing them on television.  Is obviously not an evil spy~!

Alice - A friend of Aisutori's in their homeroom, 10-C.  She's a regular attendee of their band shows, and also does flower arranging as a hobby.

Sachiko - One of the pretty girls in 10-C.  A shapely brunette, she agrees to go on a date with jin.  Sadly he never picks her up, because before the agreed time arrived, he collapsed from the intense fighting Clear Skies was going under.

The Rice Crackers
Aisutori's pop band.  Currently an all girl trio, though didn't start that way.  Aisutori is the vocalist/guitarist for it.

Orihime Yetsu - A talented guitarist and junior at the school.  With long green hair and a standoffish personality, she tends to provide the cold to Aisutori's overwhelmingly friendly in their band persona.  A big fan of american rock and roll, she tends to encourage the band having some odd numbers in their sets.  She lives with her mother in the downtown area of Osaka.

Alita Koichi - A spirited sophmore, short-haired and wild.  She joined the band freshman year as its drummer and has been with them every since.  She adores her cat Ido-kun who likes to prowl about her family's apartment.  Self-avowed otaku, she cosplays as Gally at conventions.

Jonas-sempai Tsuko - Currently recently started college.  Rather tall, Jonas played electric guitar in the first incarnation of the band.  Helped encourage getting gigs outside the school.

Youkai

Minoru - An old kappa that lives by the sea.  Clear Skies met him during hunting for pearls along the beach.  He was happily willing to hand them over in exchange for a meal, and we made a deal that if he found more he could collect them and trade them for another meal.

Grandma Tsurara Oikawa - Guardian of the Cool Breeze Marketplace in Tokyo for the last two hundred years, a largish bazaar that's still in what would be considered a bad part of town.  Very well liked and considered a dutiful matron of the area, she's part of the senior family of what could be considered the local mob that has protected the monsters of tokyo for many centuries.  Looking in her late twenties, with long flowing hair with long flowery kimono, Tsurara is usually befriended by everyone she meets.  Tries to keep up with the trends, but it doesn't come naturally to her.  She dotes on her grand-daughter, but highly encourages independence.  When she walks around the stalls, she is often followed by her own yakki of ice spirits, swiftly and energetically seeking to aid her.

Rae Oikawa - A very powerful priestess, she is rarely in Osaka, tending often to international affairs as a diplomat and one of the country's spiritual leaders.  With long raven hair, she doesn't quite show off the completely timelessness of her mother, but still no one would guess that this thirtyish woman was in her late nineties.  Found religion very early in life and encourages a far more traditional lifestyle (Traditional perhaps for 500 years ago).  She moved out there during her youth to immerse herself in a more spiritual regime.

Kappa - Kappa is a lake kappa with a particularly uninventive name.  Still, he's been around for as long as anyone can remember, easily moving between lakes and considered possibly one of the oldest kappa still around.  There's nowhere in Japan he hasn't been, though he tends to stay around The Family House in Tokyo.  Looking often like a young black haired japanese man with flippers, he prefers things wet, rarely ever leaving the water entirely. Aisutori calls him Uncle Kappa, but there's no real relationship there, and he's just a good friend of her Grandma's.  He enjoys fish, sake, and a riceballs.

Minako Son - A Waitress at the Nine Tails cafe in downtime Osaka.  She's a one tailed kitsune, just a little older than Aisutori, currently in her first year of college studying mathematics.  The cafe is only staffed by kitsunes, but is favored by many of the local youkai.  Serving a variety of teas and sweets, it also hosts small shows in the evening.  Aisutori has brought the rice crackers there a few times to perform.

Lady Katsura - Far in the back of the cafe is the mysterious lady Katsura, a mighty six tailed kitsune that has been a resident of the city for many centuries, generally hiding in back of her cafe, meeting only with special guests.  She adores fantastical stories, delicious flavors from abroad, and fine wines, and expects a gift from any who seek to meet with her.  Despite her reclusiveness, she is generally up on any story around the city, and the truly wealthy often seek her relaxing presence.  Despite being a fairly strong monster, Katsura has historically shown little interest in protecting or ruling osaka, controlling her little cafe and leaving such things to 'more foolish yokai'.  While it's said nothing could anger Katsura, she is pretty protective of her staff, not wanting any of the young kits that work for her to get hurt.

Lord Osiya Tanuki - Lord Osiya is a tremendously large, fat and old Tanuki.  His clan has lived around the forests outside of Osaka from before it was a small town.  In centuries past, the youkai gathered around his clan, terrorizing the humans and keeping the story of their type alive.  When he was a young man though, he decided to do away with humans, asking help from the gangs in Kyoto and Tokyo.  Rejected by them, he lead his powerful army of monsters against the humans anyway...  Into disaster, as the modern invention of guns saw hundreds of them die that day.  Still ruled by Osiya, his clan is very reclusive, having effectively abandoned the rule of the osaka area.  No monster has yet truly stepped in to fill that void, which among other reasons makes Osaka more targeted than most places in japan for monsters seeking to amass power.

YudoKan - A Wanyudo wheel who has lived in the area for a long time.  He is said to challenge the reckless, and chase them with his burning wheel, often breaking up motorcylce gangs in the area by challenging them to a race.  He is quite proud, declaring himself the swiftest thing on the road, and is looked up to by many of the Wanyudo in the area.

Okai - Okai is a fierce Oni who still wields an old fashioned Iron Mace.  He works generally as a bouncer at Katsura's restaurant.

Aong Hong - A ghilen from northern china, he moved to Osaka fifty years ago, and runs a large chain of music stores in the area.  He doesn't often have time to talk, but when enough money is involved he can be interested.  While Ghilens are traditionally protectors, Aong is a businessman through and through, and prefers to leave handling monsters to the police.

Spirits, Ghosts, and Godlings

Shi Tenno - The Four Heavenly Kings, guardians of the ancestors in the Makai Shrine.  The ancestors they guarded are now more revered by those that attend the shrine, but they've been a part of Osaka for close to a thousand years, and the guarding of their shrine is an ancestral calling.

Ebisu - One of the legendary lucky seven, he is a land god and has for as long as any can remember protected the fishing village of Osaka.  He is often prayed to for good fishing and luck and has many small shrines all over osaka, listening to them if one has but to ask.

Lord Oso - The shrine guardian of a large shrine inside of Osaka castle, he is somewhat of a standoffish old foggie, but is very knowledgeable about the history of the city from long ago.  He protects the lands and gardens of the castle, often showing himself as an old man sitting among the history.  While he's always willing to answer questions on things, he'll rarely let stuff go without a 'those darn kids' lecture.

Lady Amigure - The shrine guardian of a small temple near Aisutori's house, she is often prayed to for healthy pets and children.  A land spirit, she brings prosperity to those around, but like many land spirits, is not strong against attacks of despair.  When Aisutori was younger, she'd often take trips with her mother to meet the resident guardian, but Aisutori has drifted apart in her more rebellious years, rarely seen at any of the shrines around Osaka.

Others

Howard Lovecraft - Haunted by visions of the monsters undersea, he has lived in terror of them for most of his life, eventually deciding to fight back.  He came to Osaka to track down the news of them and met up with Clear Skies to warn them.  He's something of a broken person, and we haven't seen him again since his initial warning.

Mashito-sensei of the Kyoyin dojo - Aisutori's Karate teacher.    A stern man in his forties, Aisutori hasn't really interacted with him outside of martial arts class, so doesn't really know much about him.  She's been taking lessons at his dojo on the weekend for a couple of years.

Kyoka-chan - Jin's younger sister.  Probably out of the game with Jin leaving?  Being looked after by her eldest brother at the moment.

Bunkou-oyaji - Took Jin to Sapparo for treatment.  Never named.

Jin's Eldest Brother - Never named.

Neptune - A mysterious woman from the seas.  She warned of Leviathan's coming and has been sending magic assistance in the form of pearls.  We've not seen much of her since the intro, so hopefully she's alright.

Named Baddies
Mainly youkai but as they are all villians, just grouping :)

Leviathan - The Big Bad.  An ancient abomination of the seas, he has sent forth Five Voices to assist in his conquering of japan.  He is currently devouring the power of the oceans and seeks to rule over all.  He was potentially the guardian of some ancient gate, so it's possible he is simply The Dragon, and an even more horrific evil will arise if we ever deal with him.

Kawazam - The First Voice.  An electrifying singer that drives despair into the crowds, he is also a giant cthulu-styled monstrousity.  And can slurp magic.  He's the first real baddie that Clear Skies has ever retreated from, breaking their Absolute Unlosing Streak.

Crimson Sands - An assassin order hired to deal with the Bunkou family specifically, and Clear Skies in general.  They have a huge contract on us, so even though they've lost nearly a dozen assassins in their attempts, they're in for the long haul.
