Jun 14 20:18:03 <Kanae>   Kanae sets out some cookies, then pads into the other room while Aisutori is on the phone, returning later with a pitcher full of ice-cubes to pour the tea over.

Jun 14 20:21:42 <Kotono>   "Oh, Clear Skies!" With a little yelp of surprise, "Please hold!" Before Aisutori can get anything else, her call is placed in a limbo of muzac and waiting.

Jun 14 20:33:03 <Aisutori>   "Ah, I didn't see it... but if it's about the fight against the cable station monster, it was just me and Noriko-chan.  Enro-san and Kanae were out patrolling elsewhere."  She tapped speakerphone a bit, holding the cellphone so others could hear/talk.
Jun 14 20:33:53 <Kotono>   "Right. We'd like to get together to talk to all of you," Detective Kuramitsu says, "How soon can we meet?"

Jun 14 20:38:16 <Kotono>   "Got it in one, kid," The reply is a slight bit jaunty at first, but dips into annoyance as you can dimly hear another voice calling, "Well, when?" There's a moment's pause before the detective continues, "We'd like to meet as soon as possible, particularly today. We can come to you."

Jun 14 20:45:26 <Aisutori>   Aisutori hung up once they confirmed.  She took a second to finish her tea, "Do you need any help cleaning up, Kanae?"

Jun 14 21:01:43 *   Enro nods and places a hand on Aisutori's shoulder and closes his eyes, concentrating. A few seconds into this, motes of white-blue light gathering around the two in a swirl, rushing into both of them and disappearing with a loud crack, Enro sagging for just a second after.

Jun 14 21:15:58 <Kotono>   A walk takes Clear Skies to the Metro Police. It's a surprisingly new and shiny building, nice hedges and trees around it. Sunshine beams down and brightens the white walls as you head inside. Inside is a large reception area, smiling secretaries directing people about.

Jun 14 21:26:18 <Kotono>   "Oh, Clear Skies!" A button is pressed, and not ten seconds later that a side door opens. The man that comes out is on the tall side, lean and with a 5 o'clock shadow. He has short cut blonde hair that's gone a month too long without a cut. He wears a trenchcoat, both hands in his pockets. "Clear Skies?" He asks, sticking a hand out, "Detective Kiramitsu."

Jun 14 21:30:01 <Kotono>   Handshakes and bows are exchanged, "C'mon, let's talk somewhere quieter." The group is lead back to a quiet office. You find it's a plain, almost spartan office. There is a desk with papers neatly stacked and a coffee cup on a coaster. A coffee maker and a tea set sit on a corner table, a pair of filing cabinets against one wall. The single window has blinds blocking out the outside world.

Jun 14 21:32:24 <Kotono>   Detective Kiramitsu goes to sit at the desk, leaning back in his chair. "Let's start with introductions." A look over all of you, "Your names and what you can do." Noriko finds there's six chairs, plenty to sit if she wants to.

Jun 14 21:35:12 <Kotono>   "Pleasure," The detective remarks, taking his coffee cup and having a sip. That brings a grimace, pausing to get up and freshen up his coffee. Once done and sitting again, "You're a bit young for that, aren't you?"

Jun 14 21:36:36 <Aisutori>   "Kanae-chan is a bit young," Aisutori agreed, "But she's very talented."  As much as she privately thought she shouldn't be there...it wasn't an outsider's place to say so.

A head with a mane of blue hair peeks in, a big grin on the man's face. He's young, probably on the better side of 25. He's also clean shaven, "Oh, is this Clear Skies, Kuramitsu?"

Detective Kiramitsu opens a drawer on the inside of his desk, even as the blue haired detective interrupts him with a few words, "I borrowed the rest of the bottle, sorry." His grin doesn't break.

Jun 14 21:50:19 <Aisutori>   "The Tsunami was a cover...  They sent in a giant squid underground.  That's what wrecked a lot of the subway tunnels under Hyogo.  ...And they had an assassin waiting there for us too.  I'd name them, but they seem to be really dangerous, and I wouldn't want them trying to silence anyone while we're not around."

Jun 14 21:53:47 *   Aisutori leans back in her chair, "Well, we know Leviathan is supposed to have Five Voices.  One of them is Kawazam, who was responsible for most of the trouble here in the last week.  We've had...six assassin attacks, I think?  Am I forgetting one, Noriko-chan?"  She seemed rather calm for discussing people trying to kill them.

Jun 14 22:03:32 <Kotono>   "Okay, so evil singer. Gotcha. Now this part is important: Do you have any proof of what he is? Anything we can arrest him on?" Detective Kiramitsu leans in, "If he's behind this and we can prove it, bam."
Jun 14 22:04:28 <Noriko>   "He attempted to incite the crowd at the last show into a crippling depression," Noriko says. "Is this sufficient?"
Jun 14 22:05:12 <Aisutori>   "Ah...He can turn into electricity and escape through electrical outlets. ...wait, do you know where he is currently?"  Aisutori caught onto the other suggestion.

Jun 14 22:07:29 *   Aisutori blinks, "They threw a tsunami at Hyogo, Enro-san.  And had a giant cable station fight us in the streets and step on me.  While broadcasting it across the city.  I think they've already ditched that."
Jun 14 22:08:14 <Kanae>   "I think," Kanae says carefully, "that they're saying they would do what they can to help us ... within the limitations of their system.  But maybe that's not the best way to go about this?"
Jun 14 22:08:36 <Kotono>   "Indeed. Look, we need something to pin on him if he's behind this. Some real, hard evidence," The blonde detective shakes his head, "That's about right. We can't go out guns blazing without all the niceties."
Jun 14 22:08:56 <Kanae>   Almost as though to herself, she continues, "Maybe the question should be ... what can we do to deal with these problems that they can't?"
Jun 14 22:08:57 <Enro>   "I meant more that while they've been fighting *us,* they haven't moved against anyone else, really. If the police get involved, what are the chances they'll come after this station? Or the officers on patrol? And what are the chances of the officers surviving?"

Jun 14 22:13:35 *   Aisutori taps her cheek, "I'm not sure.  He's very powerful, but his magic doesn't exactly leave reportable evidence that can be pointed as 'he did it'.  You know that's pretty common with magic related crimes.  That's why on site testimony is usually used, when they have to go to jail...which I think Kawazam is way too dangerous to do that.  He can transform into a thirty foot tall monster."

"Actually, that's one of the things we were hoping you could help us with...Keeping an eye out on what they're doing through the city.  It seems just patrolling isn't really enough of a view, and we'll have to work harder to keep normal people from getting hurt and caught up in it."

Jun 14 22:30:25 <Aisutori>   "Well, I wanted to make sure we kept folks away from them as they can be pretty dangerous.  But also, we need to find out where they are coming from.  You guys have a lot more eyes out on the street than we do.  If you could try and pinpoint where they're being seen and where they're flying from, maybe it will help us track down where Kawazam's group is working from."

Jun 14 22:37:44 <Kotono>   Detective Mabiki grins and says, "Yeah, yeah," He rises and nods to all, before going off. Once gone, "Here," he offers a card out to Aisutori, "My number."
