<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Afina adds Coordinating to the following items:

Afina's Hat
Cloak of Resistance +5
Skirmisher's Boots (slippers in Afina's case)

Cost 1500gp, 375gp after crafting discounts.

Ebiris

Aurora fund hasn't been updated lately. Referring to this as the most recent reference it was last counted as 236,621.7gp

Adding to it since then we have:

here gives a double helping from Ithea giving up her share (nice kitty!) plus the actual cut so +96,240.75gp

Er... that's it actually. The only other contribution was a bunch of books getting added to the library so that doesn't actually increase the usable fund.

So we're at 332.862.45gp

And with that Afina has plans for a wonderful item!

Mission Readiness Stone

This is a 12 foot tall menhir (she could make it small and convenient to carry but then someone could steal it!) that'll sit in the Aurora courtyard. It's covered in runes for protection mostly in Sylvan. Upon being touched and a command word spoken it bestows a set of helpful spells upon the recipient!

Mind Blank (CL 15, 8th level) 15 hours
Fortunate Fate (CL 13, 7th level) 2 hours 10 minutes
Greater Mage Armour (CL 5, 5th level) 5 hours
Planar Tolerance (CL 7, 4th level) 7 hours

(if anyone has any suggestions for other consistently useful buffs they can be incorporated too)

Pricing comes out as follows...

15x8x1800 = 216000
13x7x1800 = 163800
5x5x1800 = 45000
7x4x1800 = 50400

475,200gp in total. It's technically a slot-less item but it's also one that can't really be carried easily so I think we can call that a wash?

118,800gp after discounts. It's expensive but within our means, and means we don't have to bother NPCs to cast buffs for our away missions but more importantly since it can cast all these spells all day every day we can basically buff our entire army if we have time before a battle.

Assuming no objections/amendments Aurora fund is left at 214,062.45gp.

The glaives radiate evil. The gold ring radiates evil.

The longswords and longbows are magical.

You're correct about the slotless penalty, it isn't an item worn on the body so it's not appropriate here.

I usually add some sort of extra modifier to command word or use activated healing without a limit and I think a contingency deserves one as well. However, as you'll see below, there's other factors in play, so I'll come back to this one.

The greater magic armor booster is wrong. Spell level is 3, not 5, so that price is inflated. It should be 27000, not 45000.

However, you're missing one multiplier that matters. Adding multiple abilities to the same item requires multiplying all but the most expensive by 1.5. It mentions the helm of brilliance as an example of this and it's exactly the same sort of item. Let me see what the price would look like at that point.

216000
163800*1.5=245700
50400*1.5=75600
27000*1.5=40500

216000+245700+75600+40500=577800 gold before discount and 144450 after. For the sake of easy math I'll just make the healing/contingency modifier enough to boost it to 600k before discount and 150k afterwards.

Finally, if you're serious about using these to help the common troops, I'd suggest making a second one so you can pass troops through them quickly. That's admittedly a hell of an investment, though it would help army battles a lot. As it is, one will help. If you're even more serious, making it some sort of archway that bestows it on creatures that pass through it is also possible, though it would require recalculating as a use activated item (read as: more expensive).

Assuming there's no problems with what I've posted, I'll add it to the Aurora topic soon.

An archway actually might be better, lets go with that.

Anastasia

Okay, recalculations time. Math in the spoiler box.

Mind blank.

> roll 15*8*2000
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 15*8*2000 --> {240000}

Fortunate fate

> roll 182000/2
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 182000/2 --> {91000}
> roll 182000+91000
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 182000+91000 --> {273000}

Planar tolerance

> roll 56000/2
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 56000/2 --> {28000}
> roll 56000+28000

Greater mage armor

> roll 3*5*2000
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 3*5*2000 --> {30000}
> roll 30000+15000
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 30000+15000 --> {45000}

Totaling

> roll 240000+273000+84000+45000
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 240000+273000+84000+45000 --> {642000}

> roll 642000/4
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 642000/4 --> {160500}

Note that my method of healing/contingency is usually to boost it to a round number nearby than any science. It requires an adjustment but usually not a huge one. In this case I'll go for 700k, see how that looks.

> roll 700000/4
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 700000/4 --> {175000}

15k extra for an archway and 60k in non terrifying steam pixie math? Sure, sounds about right.

So 175k for an arch. That agreeable to y'all?
