<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.

Put Tannin and Sylvie on it for GI and haggling.

Loot:

Bracers of Ninefold Defence, Ring of Feared Shadow, 4 potions of rejuvenation - all held pending buyers
Dogai's sword, nessian sludge poison, soulfreeze poison, hiwa's toga, trahere animam - all held pending Moore and Tryll turning them into something useful

Sphere of Destruction - to Jaela
Vitam Trahant - to Iddy
1x potion of rejuvenation - to Afina

Bllod Piercing, Piercing of Wrath, ring of protection +6, Lead anklet, Platinum anklet - all sold. Total 735,250gp
350,000gp from Prince Westwind

Since NPCs all got trophies and the loot was spread between several encounters that PCs went back and forth between I'm just gonna split this between the PCs and Aurora unless anyone objects.

Total of 1,085,250gp.

Split between Aurora, Afina, Jaela, Tryll, Moore, and Surrurathru comes to 180,875 each.

Aurora fund increase to 358,737.31gp.

Anastasia

Moore loot from Celestia

15 bars of iron
15 bars of gold
15 bars of silver
15 bars of platinum
15 bars of aurorum
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

Split between Aurora, Afina, Jaela, Tryll, Moore, and Surrurathru comes to 180,875 each.

So that's 180,875+69,572.77=250,447.77-57,500(Boots upgrade)=192,947.77

That includes the boots upgrade, so I dunno if you want to go ahead and do the write up for that.

What's the cost to upgrade the Vitam Trahant Ring with the Ring of the Darkhidden property? It's a 4k ring from MIC (Listed at 2k), but doesn't list an enchantment level, so I'm not sure how to math it up.
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

I'll start with breaking up the Bracers of Battle into Regalia of Battle!

Quote from: Corwin on February 14, 2017, 08:12:53 AM
First, the Bracers formula:

QuoteBracers of Battle: Armbands of Might p72 [4,100gp x2], Bracers of Opportunity p81 [2,300gp x2], Counterstrike Bracers p90 [2,500gp x2], Greatreach Bracers p108-109 [2,000gp x2], Reciprocal Bracers p120 [5,000gp x2]

5,000x2 + 2,000x2x1.5 + 2,500x2x1.5 + 2,300x2x1.5 + 4,100x2x1.5 = 10,000 + 6,000 + 7,500 + 6,900 + 12,300 = 10,675gp/42,700gp

The x2 costs are MIC items cost adjustment. The x1.5 costs are for being a secondary enchantment in an item.

Houserules say the following about slotless items:

QuoteItem Creation Rules: Slotless items cost 2.5x the normal price of an item. This is a raise from 2x the normal price.

Therefore, the (slotless) Regalia of Battle would be:

Quote
Regalia of Battle: Armbands of Might p72 [4,100gp x2], Bracers of Opportunity p81 [2,300gp x2], Counterstrike Bracers p90 [2,500gp x2], Greatreach Bracers p108-109 [2,000gp x2], Reciprocal Bracers p120 [5,000gp x2]

5,000x2x2.5 + 2,000x2x2.5 + 2,500x2x2.5 + 2,300x2x2.5 + 4,100x2x2.5 = 25,000 + 10,000 + 12,500 + 11,500 + 20,500 = 19,875gp/79,500gp

Money: 329.77gp +  180,875gp = 181,204.77gp

Bracers cost 10,675gp/42,700gp, Regalia costs 19,875gp/79,500gp. Difference comes up to 9,200gp.

Now, boots!

QuoteAccelerated Boots of the Bringer of the White: Boots of Temporal Acceleration (As a swift action 1/day, act under Time Stop for two rounds, become Shaken for one round after use.) tacked on top of Boots of the Bringer of the White (When worn by a paladin, these boots grant an extra Smite Evil per day. In addition, whenever you successfully smite evil, you gain a +3 morale bonus to attack and damage rolls for the next minute.). [60,375gp/138,500gp]

Boots of Temporal Acceleration [MIC p79, x2 MIC price = 86,000gp]. I'm merging them with the Boots of the Bringer of the White [35,000gp] and paying x1.5 for the cheaper ability to have them work together. [86,000x0.25 + 35,000x0.5x0.25 + 35,000gp (original boots) =  21,000gp + 4,375gp + 35,000gp = 60,375gp/138,500gp, 35,000gp already paid so that leaves 25,275gp]

QuoteDana's Boots
She's making a special pair of boots. All but the most expensive part get the 1.5 add on adjustment.
- Boots of speed, (12000*1.5) 18k or 4.5k after discount
- A +15 competence bonus to Swim checks, (22500*1.5) 33.75k or 8437.5 after discount.
- Permanent fly, CL 5, (30000*1.5) 45k or 11.25k after discount.
- At will dimension door as a standard action, CL 7, 56k or 14k after discount.
38187.5 gold is the final price, leaving her with 14225.08 gold. Additionally, she'll fit the boot with a boot blade (CS) for 4 gold. 14221.08 gold left. She'll enhance the boot blade with +2 enhancement bonus for 2k, since if she's kicking someone in the ass and stabbing them at the same time, she want sit to count, dammit. 12221.08 gold left.
She names her boots Asskickers and is done.

Let's see. Baseline abilities cost: 86,000gp (Temporal Acceleration), 35,000gp (Bringer), 12,000gp (Speed), 22,500gp (Swim), 30,000gp (Fly), 56,000gp (Dimension Door), 2,000gp (+2)

Let's boost Dimension Door to Greater Teleport as per your calculations, Dune. We get 45,500gp/182,000gp.

Combined, that's: 86,000x1.5 + 35,000x1.5 + 12,000x1.5 + 22,500x1.5 + 30,000x1.5 + 182,000 + 2,000 = 115,562.5gp/462,250gp

Difference comes up to: 115,562.5gp - 40,187.5gp (Dana's boots) - 60,375gp (Jaela's boots) = 15,000gp

Now, a fresh purchase! Pearls of Power!

Price: 1,000 gp (1st) + 4,000 gp (2nd) + 9,000 gp (3rd) + 16,000 gp (4th) + 25,000 gp (5th) + 36,000 gp (6th) + 49,000 gp (7th) + 64,000 gp (8th) = 51,000gp/204,000gp

Money: 181,204.77gp - 9,200gp (Regalia upgrade) - 15,000gp (Boots upgrade) - 51,000gp (Pearls) = 106,004.77gp

For further boots upgrades! How much would it take to add Cloud Wings from Spell Compendium? How much to double the duration from Boots of Speed to 20 rounds per day?

I'm giving Afina a birthday present!

It's a book with a midnight black cover. I've noticed she's not much of a reader, so I'm trying to fix that!

Speaking of this, wanna check it out for any insights, Afina?
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Ebiris

I'll have a look once I'm back from entertaining marids!

If Moore wanted to increase the holding (weight) of the Haversack, what would be involved? You never know when the "dig into it to grab whatever you need" part might be useful!

Relevant to me, as well. Hadn't ever really considered that limitation since I hadn't hit it, but yeah. Treasure gets heavy.

Edit: Also just remembered I wanted to get a Freedom of Movement effect on da boots.

CL 11x4(Level)x2000x1.5(duration)x1.5(adding)=198,000/4=49,500gp. Added to the previous cost of the boots of 57,500=107,000gp.

(There goes all the gold from the invasion >.>;)

Depends by how much you want to increase it by.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Yes, I suppose I should have specified!

So the base one is 20/80/20 and a regular bag of holding is 250...

So let's say bump it to

100/250/100 to make it 450?

Or maybe just add more 20 bags? I dunno!

Anastasia

If you have money, I'd suggest upgrading to a portable hole. That's a lot of space and it's weight-free for you. You can also double its base deepness to 20ft if you please by doubling the cost. Crystal did that and its her loot carrying solution.
