Monsters and such will get thier own posts below, Seru will all be collected in the first post.

Known Types of Seru

Name: Gimard
Type: 1 HD Seru(Fire)
Spoiler: ShowHide
Description: The Gimard is the weakest and most common form of Seru. It looks similar to a reddish-brown snake with a gigantic hood for it's head and comically oversized fangs despite not having a mouth. Between the head and the fact that they move by hopping around on thier tail instead of slithering makes it rather difficult to mistake one for a normal snake. Gimard bond by biting into their host's shoulder and wrapping thier tail around the host's other arm.
Bond Effect: While wearing a Gimard, your strength score is treated as 2 points higher then it is for the purposes of carrying capacity, and grants a +1 bonus on strength checks to lift or move something heavy. Also, you are provided with Heat Resistance 1(see Sandstorm for details on heat resistance). Gimard occupy the Shoulders body slot.
Note: Some Gimard are known to grow larger and have increased effects.

Name: Varta
Type: 3 HD Seru(Good)
Spoiler: ShowHide
Description: Another common type of Seru, Varta are very freindly when not Mist mad, and have a habit of healing any random person they pass by. Appearing as a pair of crystaline bat wings covered in small spikes that are simply attached to eachother with no body or head between them, but a pair of stinger tipped tendrils hanging down from where the wings meet, Varta are much more fearsome looking then they really deserve. They bond with thier host by settling against her back and wrapping it's wings around her stomach, sinking all of the spikes in, while wrapping the tendrils around her waist like a belt.
Bond Effect: twice per day you may draw from the healing power contained within the Varta as an immediate action, healing 1d8+3 hp. Further, if you can cast healing spells, you are treated as having the Augment Healing feat(if you do not already have it) when casting healing spells on yourself. Varta occupy the Waist body slot.
Note: When wild, Varta can heal small wounds by stinging with thier tendrils. They have a tendancy to swoop down on any injured people they meet and sting them before flying off.
