[11:59] <@Ebiris> Lightning churns and flashes in the sky which grows progressively darker as battle rages on the isolated rocky edifice upon which the supposedly haunted lighthouse stands, all too physical defences barring the way to the four heroes! Henrietta pushes closest to the enemy stronghold with Liamae shortly behind, a field of spiked earth glittering just behind her. On the other side of those spikes, Rudy lies flat on the ground, covering himself and trying to take cover from the myriad enemies lined up against them. Farther back at the edge of the woods, Lucie wields her silvered mace threateningly against the two lycantrhopic skeletons, their black bones menacing seeking to cut off retreat as the battle becomes a killing field!

Meanwhile Liamae keeps her gaze locked up onto the roof of the tower, advancing to catch up with Henrietta as magic swirls around her hands in readiness to be unleashed!

Or maybe there's something less dangerous she can try...

This doesn't stop it from rushing forward, however, running across the spiked earth as if it weren't there as it charges down Liamae in revenge!

Meanwhile the other one seems to move with sadistic ease, strolling towards Lucie but not attacking, instead blocking her retreat and forcing her to brave the ledge or turn and fight it. She could swear despite its mangled jaw it is grinning at her.

[15:04] <@Ebiris> "So did I," Liamae gasps as she staggers away before falling to her knees on the unsympathetic rock away from the lighthouse. "Gods that was brutal."
[15:04] <@Lucie> "I can barely move," Lucie admits, her voice hoarse and strained. "We're not walking back to town tonight. Make do with what's left of the tower tonight when the fire's run its course."
[15:05] <@Rudy> "Lemme see. They might've had potions. Gods know why we didn't," murmurs Rudy, stumbling towards the moustached man's corpse to have a look.
[15:05] <@Henrietta> Standing guard over Liamae, Henrietta decides to put her spells to use to put the fire out. A ray of frost, just as she'd done in the hull of a burning ship. How long ago was that?

[15:08] <@Ebiris> Despite the strong head start Liamae's fire has had, Henrietta's magic is superior! It takes a little while, but consistent applications of frost first stall the fire's progress, and then extinguish it completely. The entrance hallway is gutted, but much of the wooden structure remains intact.
[15:08] <@Rudy> With the fire and smoke out of the way, Rudy finally gets his chance to steal things from people he helped kill!
[15:09] <@Ebiris> Rudy finds a single potion on the man's belt! It's in a glass jar, the label saying something in unfamiliar script.
[15:10] <@Lucie> "Careful as we go," Lucie suggests, following Rudy inside. "No idea what they might have left around this place."
[15:10] * @Lucie pauses by Rudy to examine his discovery.
[15:10] <@Rudy> Rudy passes it to Henri, surely more knowledgable in the ways of strange vintages than he. "Gonna pull through?" he asks, glancing at her; black marks around his neck are still plainly visible.
