Character build charts

I use these to help guide NPC growth. I'm posting them here so that you can better understand what's going on under the hood. Notes as follows.

These charts are guidelines, not absolutes. Generally, after a few levels (varies by build) class and especially feat selection is a rough approximation. Things can and do change. For example, I had to trash Ebony's entire build chart a few days ago since it involved human paragon coming up. She doesn't qualify for it now, so she'll have to get things done in other ways.

For the max level of the build charts, I chose level 33 mostly at random. The numerological ties to the game world are a small factor, but really I just chose some level way the hell ahead.

Charts are posted as I have time to pretty them up.

Suggestions more than welcome.

Adrian is currently level 22.

Adrian's might run a more fighter to get up to weapon supremacy. 6 levels is a lot and he'd probably get more out of planar champion.

Dana will probably dip something instead of fighter 13, which is a complete dead level for her. Probably something that gives her a worthwhile feat or a power point boost. Great Ability may get the axe as well, we'll see.

Tannin is currently level 18.

Swift action glibness is just too fitting for Tannin to pass up. Anyway, I'm probably going to dip away from battle dancer some. It's not bad, but his entire build feels stale once it hits 21. It's not all bad, since from 23 on he gets an epic feat each level. Still, I think he could do with more variety. Alternately, he could take another PrC that advances his vigilante casting and work through that.

Elder Magi Tepen is currently level 18.

Very tentative. The problem is that the PrC that fits him the most is Archmage, and I rarely feel Archmage is worth the hefty prerequisites and sacrificing spell slots for powers. While some of the abilities aren't to be underestimated, I don't feel three weak feat choices can be justified. I'm all for taking thematically appropriate options, but fuck Archmage. Paragnostic Apostle fits Tepen well, as he's run the table on knowledge skills.

Jarl Bigansdir is currently level 17.

The Jarl's idea is pretty simple. Wrap up healer than go all in with the prestige classes.  He's feat strained, so he may replace some cloud giant levels with fighter or something else to ease his feat congestion. It's possible he'll need a Contemplative dip or something similar if I'm wrong about how Warpriest's prereqs work, by the way.

Decided on Avenger for Lief. He'll run the table with it to ten and probably continue on in epic if he gets that far. For now he takes rogue 5 at 28 pending that. He has two open fighter bonus feats that I'll figure out as he gets closer.

Crystal is currently level 18.

Her build is obvious. There's an open question on if it is worth continuing ranger for epic feats, as none of them are really useful for Crystal at all. It leaves her in a crummy situation and she may dip out of ranger for something else to augment her abilities. I have no idea what, so we'll see where she's at around level 20.

The plan's simple - continue War Dancer and Monk. Get monk epic feats. Continue until further notice. He sneaks Battle Dancer 11 in Charge of the Furious Unicorn but otherwise he sticks to his guns. I wanted him to pick up another style, but none of them are realistic for him to grab. Ah well.
