Bruisewort Paste

This paste, if used as part of bandaging wounds, restores 2 hit points. In addition, it grants a +2 bonus when used in conjunction with a heal check to stop an ongoing, bleeding wound, such as caused by a bearded devil's glaive.

Thyan makes two doses from the thistlerod.

Golden Thistlerod; contact DC 18; allergic reaction and 1d6 con.

This poison only affects living evil creatures and fiends. Fiends find that their normal immunity to poison is ineffective against Golden Thistlerod. Those creatures who fail the initial save take a -2 penalty to attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, initiative and armor class due to sudden, painful hives all over the body. These hives last for one hour or until they receive the benefit of a neutralize poison spell.
