Thank you very much for those ideas, I applied them as such. For the first issue, I just let Mr. Exposition do his job, and for the second the description of noise caused by Haruhi's arrival should give the correct impression. Yes, Koizumi is handy in that he is plausibly capable, as a character, of delivering some otherwise-out-of-place exposition. I suppose Tanigawa finds him handy as well, for the exact same reason....

Just a typo I noted (in the attached version on this thread): "you were seen to bed as recommended," should probably be "sent to bed".
