<Kotono> Aaah. Nothing like fresh rodent to fill up Pepo's stomach. Well, besides fish. In any case, he's below decks, just coming out from behind a few barrels after a successful hunt in Old Kamhoff's lab. His golden retriever is nearby, lying down with head resting on paws. He's not asleep, however, but instead watching Pepo.
<Pepo> Pepo pauses a moment to lock eyes with the old dog. But once reassured it isn't going to strain its creaking bones into a chase, he walks on by and upstairs with his tail held high.
<Kotono> As Pepo passes, the dog rises and steps in front of him. It sits right in front of Pepo. He pants a few moments as it watches the cat, before leaning in towards the cat.
<Pepo> Pepo leans right back! The dog isn't acting aggressive which is fine, but he doesn't want slobbery dog tongue going all over his well-groomed coat!
<Kotono> A good move. That lean back just dodges a tongue right upside the back of his neck and back.
<Pepo> Safe! Moving around the side of the dog, Pepo scampers upstairs before he gets 'attacked' again!
<Kotono> Pepo hears a whimper from the hound but nothing else as he makes his escape. Going up, he finds the other cat nearby. It looks to him cautiously.
<Pepo> "Dog tried to lick me," Pepo tells the other cat in a few quiet chirps, expressing the genetic disdain for their fellow domesticated animals.
<Kotono> "Does that," The other cat agrees with a hiss. "Feels nice. Messy fur. Strong."
<Pepo> What strange habits this other cat must have. Puzzled that any feline would want his fur messed with, Pepo ends the conversation with typical catty brusqueness and goes off to find a good napping spot.
<Kotono> OOC: Okay, anything else you want to do, Pepo?
<Pepo> ooc: nah
