<Kotono> Pepo follows his nose. This leads him into the back - looks like a kitchen. Here are dozens of cages stuffed with rodents. Over a fire are several skewered rats, slowly roasting. It smells intoxicatingly rich here, like all the tasty rats are about. A middle aged woman tends to the foods and lightly whistles to herself as she works.
<Pepo> Oh. That's not what he was expecting at all. Oh well, he can improvise! Walking up towards the woman he sits and looks up at her before delivering his cutest meow.
<Kotono> The woman smiles and kneels down, petting Pepo. She has good hands. "Hi there, Mr. Cat," she greets, "You like orc cooking, do you?" Said woman also is notably a human and not an orc at all. Tallish and with graying brown hair, but no tusks or green skin.
<Pepo> Nothing wrong with enjoying another culture's cuisine. Pepo quite liked some of that snake food he had back in Rossalund. Purring, he rubs his head into her hand to encourage her to continue while also trying to coax her into giving him a rat. Even a cooked one could be interesting.
<Kotono> Petting is followed by a rat being taken off the skewer and put on the floor. "You want this, Mr. Cat," she offers, petting him all the while.
<Pepo> Pepo purrs and dips his head towards the meat, starting to bite off chunks which he rapidly chews through and swallows.
<Kotono> Mmm! It's well cooked and seasoned. An odd notion for a rat, but it's really tasty.
<Pepo> Both his purring and his rapid pace of eating are testament to the chef's skills!
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.
