This leads to a hallway. The occasional window lets in moonlight that illuminates the paintings that hang from each wall. They are of various great figures - powerful outsiders and creatures, as well as heroic mortals and other such things. Still portraits of them. Some are still and at peace, while others twitch and move, as if looking about.

Afina pauses to regard the first twitchy portrait she sees, looking somewhat unsettled by it. "What is this?"

It looks to be a balor, lightning blade in hand and screaming silently in rage. It constantly looks about.

"I wonder if this is the one Grandfather Time mentioned... hello? Can you hear me?" she calls out towards the painting.

Moore frowns. "I wonder if this happens to people who get lost here for too long."

[Anastasia]

The balor's eyes turn to you - and the painting ripples, becoming a portal. You see it charge forward, from some sort of pool. The creature's coming right at you, flaming body ablaze and an unearthly bellow of hatred. Its eyes burn with fury as it roars in Abyssa, "DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!"

You were right to be unsettled by them, they're dangerous. Init.
