Sounds good.

You proceed out. You come into a small auditorium. Everything's made of well polished wood, like a classical mansion centuries old. Everything has a sheen that speaks of being hand polished for more years than a human could live. About a dozen chairs surround the stage, where a piano sits.

"Ah." Crystal murmurs to herself.

Queen Ilsenine looks on with a quiet smile, "I have been rather fond of piano music recently."

Moore smiles a bit himself. "I'm not quite as talented with the piano as other things, but if you'd like me to try and play something, I certainly can."

[Anastasia]

"Do so," Queen Ilsenine comes and sits, "Join me," she gestures to the others.

It seems appropriate, so Afina goes to claim a seat for herself.

Jaela follows suit, leaning Gae Bolg against her shoulder.

[Anastasia]

Crystal sits primly, dismounting Hope, who curls up at her feet like an oversized cat. She leans in and murmurs to Ilsenine, "May you find it restful, Majesty."

Queen Ilsenine merely makes a soft sound in reply.

Moore will wait until everyone is seated before he flies over to play something -- not too upbeat, but not too somber either -- something in the middle.

He decides not to call on any magic just yet, since he wants to do this naturally.

The music is cool, relaxed. An elegant piano medley. Queen Ilsenine closes her eyes and simply listens to the music. "Is it not beautiful, Afina?" Ilsenine asks as Moore plays, "I find the piano soothes my spirit and quells my memories. Does it help you, or you, Jaela?"

Meanwhile, a door appears on the east wall as Moore plays - then it vanishes into darkness. Instead, a door on the west wall appears and a wooden stairway forms on the stage, going down. A curved stair, made of wood and with a railing of deep green.

"It is soothing, your Majesty," Afina says, speaking softly out of deference for the music. She's more a fan of wind instruments though.

[Corwin]

"It's pleasant," Jaela responds. "I'm more of a fan of faster-paced tunes, myself."

[Nephrite]

Moore will just continue to play for the time being -- after all, he was asked by an authority figure to start!

[Anastasia]

"Mm." Ilsenine listens for a little time more, "Enough, Moore. The ways ahead have been revealed. The puzzle is which path do we take?"

[Ebiris]

"The verdant stairway seems more appropriate for our destination, doesn't it?" Afina suggests, getting up and flying over.

[Nephrite]

Moore stops -- but stays near the piano in case the way forward disappears when he does so.

[Anastasia]

"My thoughts exactly. The front door is logically on the first floor," Crystal reasons, "We are above ground, as we saw moonlight when we met Grandfather Time. Therefore, unless below has no windows or signs we are below ground, going down is correct."
