Spiteful ward is attached to epic mage armour (it's my first spell so if she fails her save against it she can't dispel any of my other buffs, also haste is Ex and remains intact regardless). DC 35 will or 4 ability drain to all scores and autofail all dispel checks ever.

FYI for distance I've been maintaining 60 feet separation from Sehanine at all times so I dunno what her radius is on whatever she's using but it might matter.

Summons are nuked regardless. Is haste an ex on other people as well?

She can't fail the Will save and doesn't fail saves on a natural 1, so she can't be affected by the ward. No point in rolling unless you want me to.

Spells shatter all around you. Magic is lost, as suddenly Moonbow is 70ft in the sky. The eladrin of might is gone in the aftermath, as the moon begins to glow brighter and brighter. Power is gathering around her rapidly, the moon shedding light and moonfire in great torrents. The moon grows larger in the sky by the moment.

Afina all of a sudden has a lot of work to do! Taking a deep breath, she draws on her dwindling reserves of magic to regain some of her defences, accelerating herself fast enough to do so in less than an eyeblink!

When it's done her defences against being hit are restored if little else, but it provides her some comfort even as a gigantic bird eclipses the moon overhead, harrying Sehanine at Afina's command to hopefully open just a chink in her armour that can be exploited as the pixie dashes in for a pair of quick attacks before moving past her another sixty feet away!

Afina is as swift as can be, managing to strike twice. A slice across each cheek, a single drop of blood glistening in each one before the wound closes.

"How long has it been since someone blooded even a third of the Triune?" Sehanine Moonbow murmurs, her hand going to her cheeks, feeling where the cuts were. "Enough." The moon retreats, the Yggdrasil growing larger on the horizon. Sehanine Moonbow descends to the ground, "You are the first in ages to pass this trial." The world becomes more real, less that of dreams. Yet in a blink of the eye she stands before Jaela, her hand reaching out to cup Jaela's cheek, "We are proud of you. As we of the Triune do not fight alone, you have gathered many powerful allies to your banner and fight as one."

Moore lets out a breath he'd been holding onto.

Ack!

He flies over to Illsenine and kneels down next to her. He looks over to Sehanine. "Ah... would it be possible --erm. Are you able to restore us? I have a feeling we have a few more trials ahead of us..."

"Your Majesty!" Crystal races over, taking off her borrowed ring and putting it back on. She begins to channel panaceas into her, stirring her right away.

She's going to use her ring until Ilsenine's at full HP.

It worked, hurray! Flying back down to rejoin everyone else, she dismisses Smrgol back to Aurora. "Thank you Smrgol, you made me proud," she tells the ironwyrm as he returns. Since spells don't work maybe she can get a magic item like wings of flying stuck onto him or something? Of course with his earthen nature he may still disapprove, but his lack of mobility was the only flaw in an otherwise exemplary performance.

With the golem departed she walks over to stand behind Jaela, letting her bask in the praise from her goddess. They'll be meeting Titania or Oberon later anyway for the fairies to get their own due.

Slowly Sehanine Moonbow's hand falls away, but you feel something in yours after you cast the spell. "Two drops of blood, earned fairly. The worthy that ingest them will grow stronger. Go on, Yggdrasil awaits."

The deity is gone after that, only Yggdrasil on the horizon. Queen Ilsenine stirs from the healing, "You're safe, Majesty," Crystal insists as Jaela's healing does the rest, "We won."

"Won is perhaps overstating it, but we gave a good account of ourselves," Afina says, much as she hates to rain on Crystal's parade, a less merciful foe of the same calibre would have ground them down rather than simply stopping after blood was drawn.

"I... erm." Moore shakes his head. "I'm sorry, I must be missing something -- why was she here in the first place? I mean -- I understand it was to test all of us, but, -why- is she the one who was here? Is there a connection there that normal people don't know about? Maybe that's a question for..." Moore glances in the direction of Yggdrasil and trials off.

Queen Ilsenine rises with Moore and Crystal's help. "The Seladrine has good relations with the Court of Stars. They're connected to Arborea." Crystal says quietly.

Afina keeps silent on the connection, just as Kascha requested. "Is everyone well enough to continue onwards? We're close but far from done."
