Impaled, the elementals are coated in ice, unable to move. It makes the gasses in them more solid, binding them rather than letting them flow freely.

Storm elementals are covered in ice. Can't move or take normal actions, though they can take purely mental actions or try and break out of the ice.

Meanwhile, the icicle morphs into a hand - attached to a titanic arm, which rises up and tries to grab Hanna.

Jaela plunges spear first, falling and using the last of her wings to stab into the icy arm. She drags down it a few feet, opening up a rend in it. The hand flexes open, releasing Hanna. She immediately flies down to you, grabbing you as you hold onto your spear, "Getting out of here about now," she stays, starting to ascend.

Mirajane's up.

"Retreat! We can't win like this!" Mirajane calls, flying straight up as fast as she can and out of sight, into the mists above.

Mirajane's flying up as far as she can.

Afina, go. Your ice-wrapped elementals are also up.

With Mirajane already fleeing and Hanna having a solid hold on Jaela, Afina is fine with this state of affairs and hastens to follow their seer's advice! "I'm right behind you!"

Casting a prismatic wall horizontally below so as to block any projectiles sent upwards after them, she flies right up after the three angels! The storm elementals sadly are unable to do much of anything, left either to wait out the duration of their summons or suffer whatever the ice elemental has in store for them.

Everyone flies up fast, the four retreating - but the hand follows. It just begins to reach the end of its tether as it catches up with Jaela and Hanna again, trying to grab them both.

CMB vs Hanna. Jaela, you can't do much here since you can't fly, though I'll give Hanna a +2 circumstance bonus for miscellaneous aid you'd offer here.

Jaela and Hanna teleport up, Hanna holding Jaela tightly, "Good work," she says, "I'll handle the flying and you take care of the fighting." Meanwhile Afina and Mirajane begin to catch up, banishing the fog.
