"Because we grind your souls, hopes, and dreams down ... and ride the wave."

Nephrite

"Would one spell of the 12th Circle suffice?" Moore asks.

Anastasia

Dead silence. Total stop. Erga seems frozen before he says slowly, "Impossible! There's nothing past the ninth circle to mortals, and only the greatest of us have managed it!"

"We are not mortals, are we?" Balyss stands, wings spreading out. "Shall I show you a spell of the 10th circle, or a sword forged by Selune herself?" she draws the Sword of the Moon. "I would suggest you embrace the idea of the fantastic rather than denying it."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Moore clears his throat a bit. "Balyss has the right of it, I don't think any of us are, actually." Moore says. Oh dear, is he breaking some sort of rule...? Oh well.

"It is as she says, however, Sir Erga. There is magic past the ninth circle, most humans and mortals just end up stopping there. However, once they open their mind more and pass that limitation, they unlock even greater feats and accomplishments." Moore says, hamming it up just a little bit.

"It is why Aurora is so important to Creation, we accept any and all who would aid us in our battles against Hell. We have people from all walks of life -- magic user or not." He spreads his arms out at this. "Again, you can see the truth before your eyes -- the magic you can see on us defies the strength that should be possible to you, does it not?" He smiles at that. "Please, allow us to be the first to open your mind to new knowledge."

Hey, even if he's breaking a rule, he's certain Erathaol would be happy about spreading knowledge.

Something's nagging at him though, something about this city of wizards is really familiar. Wasn't there someone once who really liked the idea of... ...nah, must be his imagination.

A city.

A....a...Hanna? A Hanna? No, a man. A planetar. A....lost...h...

You feel woozy a moment, losing train of everything as you feel yourself hit the ground hard, face first.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Ow. Oh, that was painful...

Moore blinks a few times. Wait, painful? Why is he... ...ugh. Why is he on the -- ...oh dear.

He slowly pulls himself off the floor, clearing his throat as he rights himself.

"AHEM! Excuse me." He smooths his clothes over. "Ah... yes, where were we? Spreading knowledge, right?" Hopefully that doesn't happen again...

Is this something to do with Algorand...? Or is it.......

Anastasia

You find Balyss is besides you, helping you up. Lost...Hanna? Lost...H...?

"Excuse him, he's connected to things we don't fully understand. Sometimes they overwhelm him," Balyss explains. "We can easily fulfill your price. We'll need to depart briefly to gather what we need, but it shouldn't take overly long."

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Moore nods. "Yes, my apologies. Quite embarassing!" He says with a bit of a chuckle. "Would you simply care for the four spells, then...?"

Anastasia

"Yes," Erga has recovered by now, "And one of that 10th circle you talk of," he says, "Prove your words, as I hardly believe them." He...Lost...ro...

Nephrite

He's pretty sure that just one of the higher-level spells would be sufficient, but...

"Very well. When we return, where would you like us to appear? We can return to this room, provided it is not warded specifically." He's pretty sure it isn't since they quite literally just went there, but you never know.

Anastasia

"Here is acceptable. I will be here all day," Erga replies.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Moore nods. With that, he will Gate everyone back to Aurora's ...er...gates!

Anastasia

The return is without incident. Once you get in, Dana stretches, "Right, so we give him the goods and we cut to the fuckin' chase?"

Nephrite

"Yes." Moore agrees. "I think if we include something from the higher circles they'll have to do whatever we ask them to, really."

Moore will trust Balyss' judgement on what to bring, if that's okay.
