It's really your call here since it's your idea. What level of spells are you thinking of? Balyss is thinking of going for 3 7th level spells and one 10th, though she's not married to the idea.

[Nephrite]

I think that showcases that we're a high-enough level group and aren't making up anything, so it should get their attention and show we're taking their request as seriously.

[Anastasia]

Okay, what spells and who's paying for the scrolls?

[Nephrite]

Awaken Magical Beast, Least Form of the Ice King, Might of the Planetar and Circle of Spiritual Protection he'll have Balyss cast something of 10th level for them.

Moore will pay for them but I think it puts him into the negatives, if it does he'll just owe the remainder for now.

[Anastasia]

Post the expense in loot and we'll sort it out there.

[Nephrite]

OK. Balyss will also need to Gate us back.

[Anastasia]

One Gate later and the three of you return, Erga waiting. "Well," he asks, eyes a little wide as he studies your gate.

[Nephrite]

"We've decided that three scrolls of the 7th Circle should suffice to show you how serious we are about a relationship with you and the Samgan Empire." Moore says, handing the three over. "We would also agree to demonstrate a 10th Circle spell for you..." Here, he pauses, and looks very serious -- no more smiles. "Were we to do that, we would wish to do so with those here who could truly appreciate something of that strength and who would have the authority to agree to diplomatic relations with our organization. I do not wish to treat my friend with disrespect my friend and her faith by using her as some sort of sideshow." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

"A moment, please," he says, leaving the scrolls and stepping out, "I must consult with another. I will not be long."

[Nephrite]

"Of course. Take your time." Moore insists.

[Anastasia]

"You know, we have fangs," Dana says, "We could show them off instead of acting like friendly fucking travelers."

[Nephrite]

"We could." Moore agrees. "But then we'd all need horns, fangs and talk about how great Hell is. But if he comes back with anything else that wastes our time then I'm going to stop being so polite."

[Anastasia]

"Hell at least has a good pension," Balyss remarks, "All the fire and suffering you could want. "

"...shit, stop making Hell sound better," Dana grins back.

[Nephrite]

"Either way, I hope that our good grace is enough to show them that we mean business." Moore says, glancing around at the rest of the study. "Even if they may not have the same strength we do on an individual level, I'm certain that Aurora would benefit from their wealth of knowledge on magic."

[Anastasia]

It's a nice study. The wood used is of a color and grain you don't immediately know, but it looks nice. A rich, deep brown with whorls here and there. "Maybe. The might have a few useful unique spells." Balyss admits, "It's just that...Selune help me, I've lost all perspective about the mortal plane. I'm already thinking they can't match our power, they need to be guided and protected according to Selune's will."
