"Well, time to start again. Looks like he's pulling monsters out of memories. I'm going to guess they're weaker than the real ones, but numbers... Could be a problem. Does anyone have a large area attack left that we could use to punch a hole through and get to the book?"

"21," Sylvie matches you, cracking her knuckles as she stands up. "Some spells, but nothing on the scale Kascha used."

"I can massacre them as they draw close," Ebony says, "Though some means will further drain me."

"I have a few things, but I'm running low too," Kascha peers down, hand over her eyes before she hefts her greatsword.

The horde is 200ft down and 50ft away and the castle is 800ft down and 300ft away.

Let's go into init here.

Can I study the monsters to tell if they're illusions or something that I can dispel?

You can tell they're phantasms, partially real memories. Much like some types of shadow magic, now that you  know what they are, they'll only be partly effective against you. They're partly real so anti illusion measures are only marginally helpful against them.

Flip side, you could probably dispel some, but more would come from the ocean below. Good short term solution but not a long term winner.

#773
Surrarthru calls out to the others, "They're phantasms. Not completely real, so while they can hurt us some, they're not entirely dangerous. I can dispel some, but they'really likely to just be replaced... to bad we don't have the Anti Magic Field stones... or a disjunction... ideas other than to rush through them?

... If only we had the Sword of Myr, we could cut through these to Secretus without spending more strength on them..."

"Yes well, we need to get through this first," Sylvie retorts.

Sylvie's snarking aside, it is your turn. Going to act?

Okay, I'm gonna have to ask how you get 87ft, since most spells use numbers divisible by 5.

Because I had numbers in my calculator already when I did it and didn't notice. It's 80 ft.
