You can tell they're phantasms, partially real memories. Much like some types of shadow magic, now that you  know what they are, they'll only be partly effective against you. They're partly real so anti illusion measures are only marginally helpful against them.

Flip side, you could probably dispel some, but more would come from the ocean below. Good short term solution but not a long term winner.

I can dispel some, but they'really likely to just be replaced... to bad we don't have the Anti Magic Field stones... or a disjunction... ideas other than to rush through them?
