As the largest group, this group requires the most organization. Additionally, Jaela, Moore and Sylvie are on call in case the Duke of Destiny makes a play. In light of this, what sort of role are the three of you going to take in this? Are you going to have any other notable NPCs nearby or will they be busy directing the rest of the troops?

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

I'll be keeping up a Word of Creation'ed Inspire Courage for as long as I can to give our main forces a huge boost in fighting capability, unless I'm requested to conserve for some reason.

Corwin

The force will be subdivided into three roughly equal parts, commanded by Adrian, Mirima and Cresiel each. I will assume overall command, but that will all change if I'm needed elsewhere.

Regarding our group, Mirajane is detached to us since the goldenfire bracers might come in handy, not to mention her precog ability.

Anastasia

Okay, one point of needed clarification: Where precisely are you going to be and are you using any voice amplification, Moore?

Nephrite

I'll stick with Adrian's group and as of currently no.

Anastasia

Cool. Okay Jaela, where will you be relative the three groups, since you're in overall command?

On the deck of my ship~

We'll arrange things so that I, Moore, Sylvie, Mirajane and four communications officers are held in telepathic link. Three of those will be with each force, and one with the Aurora defense force near Tepen.

Anastasia

Moore'll be with Adrian's group. Okay, in that case I think you two need separate topics. You're going into a new topic after this, Moore.

Also, who are the communications officers?

Below the battle of Elons Rapids begins. Ships hover as they come from Aurora, as from the great fortress you come. Jaela stands on the deck of her ship and watches her forces deploy. The sky above is dark and ominous, a strange half-light coming and no sign of the sun.

Mirajane and Sylvie stay close to you for the moment, with the latter saying, "Here we go," she murmurs. "Time to find out if we have a shot at saving Lifasa."

Corwin

Just random dudes. I had Candy establish a communications group last major attack, if you'll recall, so let's say they're swift scouts she picked for the task.

"We always had a shot," Jaela muses. "But this is all about improving the odds, yeah."

'Jaela, one of Adrian's first elements have met a small party of devils. Combat has begun,' Tepen sends to you. 'Early reports are that civilians are avoiding things or participating on the side of the devils, depending.'

"This is about proving it," Mirajane says, "If we can win on Benfal, we can win on Lifasa.'

"Truth," Jaela agrees, signaling for the helmsman to gain some altitude and see more of the battlefield.

"We'll be deploying to where opposition is the stiffest, or upon request from one of our three force commanders," she says, mentally relaying her words through the four communications officers to Tepen, Adrian, Mirima and Cresiel. "Mirajane, if you can divine a target of opportunity, or Sylvie, if you can figure out where we can do the most damage to the enemy, you only need to speak up."

Sylvie nods, eyes half closed as she focuses.

"Mother," Mirajane says right away, "There's at least one thing here hidden from the future, if not more. Or at least hidden from my vision."

"Can you give us a rough direction, or this is more of a feeling?"

"Below somewhere," she gestures, "In the city."

Jaela turns to study Mirajane in case she's messing with her, but then decides to nod. "Take us down, all the way to roof level," she instructs the helmsman. "Sylvie, keep an eye out for any opportunists who'd think this means we're a soft target."

Her own blindsight will take care of the short range, and perhaps being closer to the city would allow Mirajane to figure out an actual direction.
