This valley leads to more mountains, save for the stream that goes through the middle. One could follow that stream as it goes into the mountain, enough space to fly over it and follow it's underground course. Alternately, one could fly up the steep sides of the valley and proceed that way.

The stream is fast moving and cold. The walls of the cavern emit faint light, which tints blue from the ice that quickly begins to coat the walls. Your breath fogs out in front of you as you go further in.

Any cold resistance or anything like that?

Not naturally. He could cast Planar Tolerance if that would help.

Anastasia

It does not in this case. Anything else?

If it gets intolerable he'll use Limited Wish to Endure Elements, as ridiculous as that is.

Moore endures the cold as he flies along. The river goes on for a ways, at least a good half hour. You're thoroughly chilled when it leads into a larger cave. It ends in a lake and on the store of that lake is a large, fenced in building. It's plain and made from the same stone as the mountains. From your viewpoint, you can see dozens of draconic humanoids going through martial arts forms. You know that much from having seen people like the Master and Sylvie around Aurora.

Brrr! Moore rubs his shoulders as he flies down towards the building. They're probably not used to having guests, but hopefully his intrusion won't be seen as a problem.

Now why in the world did the Mountain send him here, he wonders...

Anastasia

Your approach is seen soon enough. The draconic creatures do not show any sign of stopping, though the one that leads them through the exercises does pause. This one is like the others, except with coppery scales with a greenish tint. He calls out in Celestial, "Hail and well met! Friend, what are you doing here? I don't recall a pixie ever seeking to learn these arts."

"Just following the path the Mountain has laid out for me today." Moore calls back in the same language as he flies closer. "My apologies for the interruption, I can wait until you are finished."

Anastasia

A nod to that, but he flies up nonetheless. He has wings of copper as well, "They've done this every morning for years now. They could finish it blind and deaf." He meets you halfway and says, "You feel you were drawn here? Interesting! Do you have any passion in studying martial arts? This is the Refuge of the Draconic Fist, one of many monastic orders that serves Bahamut."

"Well, I was following the river from some of Domiel's tombs... I actually originally came to go to Xiranthador, but, as you probably can guess, the Mountain had other plans." Moore gestures back the way he came.

"I'm not much for martial arts, but I can inspire others." Moore rubs his chin for a moment. "I'm sure the Mountain wanted me here for some reason, else I wouldn't have found it. Ah -- my name is Moore, I am with Aurora, if that means anything to you, good dragonborn."
