To defeat a daemon (Jaela, Afina)

You follow the path to a room. Here there are nearly a dozen doors going in each direction, as well as a ladder going both up and down.

Afina can tell the correct path is to head further underground. However, the way is powerfully trapped and lacks air.

Afina tries a downdraft to blow air into the airless passage.

"Something down there?" Jaela asks after a glance at how Afina's stopped and focused on the ladder. "Wanna summon a few scouts?"

"The path leads down but there's no air, trying to fix that," Afina answers. "Also there's lots of traps."

Anastasia

GAH!

A giant explosion of flame comes moments after you add air. It erupts out and scorches the ceiling before dying down. The flames burn an unnatural, vibrant purple.

Bubbles steps back rather quickly, "Honey, have I mentioned that this daemon is an boor and a mountebank yet?"

"I hope that ruined some of the traps at least," Afina says. Did that equalise air between here and the passage or is it still airless down there?

Jaela admires the purple flames. This daemon certainly has a flare for the dramatic! And the color, that's such a villain-themed fire.

Create Water is a wondrous thing, and Jaela blesses the passageway with it!

If the fire is magical, taking ten for Spellcraft 50 and K:A 58. Presuming the fire isn't magical, taking ten on K:N 39 and K:P 63 and K:R 63 in case it's some terrible poison of interacts badly with water, in which case I won't summon the gallons and gallons of endless waters.

It's magical flame - just tinted that way, nothing special about it. Water works fine and soon enough quenches it.
