To defeat a daemon (Jaela, Afina)

Afina waits a moment before using her burning touch to melt a tunnel through the packed snow so they can get out onto the surface of it. Though given how hot it is around here beyond the reach of her temperature modifying range it probably won't last long anyway.

[Corwin]

"Sounds painful," Jaela notes.

[Anastasia]

"Did it do it?" Mirima asks as you tunnel out. Easy enough, the snow's melting rapidly.

Now you have a forest that's not on fire a tall, but is getting soaked by melting snow.

[Ebiris]

"Seems clear," Afina says, looking around and nodding in satisfaction.

[Anastasia]

"Well then, shall we?" Bubbles asks, waving her hand and clearing the lingering smoke.

Heading back to the swamp?

Sure. If it's been over ten minutes some more elementals might have popped up where I first cast elemental swarm. And correspondingly might well have died from the extreme temperatures/acid/monsters.
