Surraruthru grabs a loose stone. The Daylight spell radiates from it, light turning the darkness into a dim gloom you can see through. You can also note, to some displeasure, all of the tunnels are identical on a glance, with no discerning marks or signs of where they're going. Within 40ft, they slope up, slope down, turn or otherwise go out of sight.

"Well, which way first? Anyone mind marking the path? Also if you're willing to wait a few minutes, I can weave you all into my Tapestry. I still have spells to cast that will be useful to have."

"I'm not sure we have that sort of time to wait, Surraruthru," Afina says. "They're gathering in power below and Jaela won't be able to hold off reinforcements forever. 27, do you know which way is best for us to go?"

Hopefully there's not too many branching paths to take after they're denied 27's input. "This way, come on!" she calls, flying for the indicated tunnel.

He never mentioned Simmer by the way, I guess she can go with Jaela since my team includes the dogs?

My original understanding was that I should stay behind to keep the rift from reopening due to the blocking spell being a radius from me (an aura, you could say). Does 27 think I don't need to be present to keep it closed, and should go into the tunnels?
