"Why do you call it soulriders?"
"Because we grind your souls, hopes, and dreams down ... and ride the wave."

"Oh, and we wanna make it look like a tarrasque. With a SUN stuffed in its chest!"
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Anastasia

"That..." Latha pauses to consider, "Is an impressive amount of adamantine." A longer pause as she considers, "What role does Lathander play in it?"

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Calleigh takes a breath to continue, then shakes her head and sits on Latha's shoulder instead.

Tryll begins, 'If you don't mind, I'll take over the conversation from here. Calleigh's understanding of the design is limited by her attention span, unfortunately. Surraruthru and I have worked together in our brief spots of off-time in order to put together an idea. We were both concerned about the sheer numbers of devils, as well as the fact that Lifasa is essentially sliding into Hell. Due to this, the land itself will likely be at least partially under the control of devils.

We began brainstorming about allies to recruit and at one point I jokingly said that we might as well find a tarrasque to recruit, for all that it would be impossible to control. Surraruthru suggested make one instead. Brilliant. Completely brilliant. So we've been gathering resources. The hideous amount of gold required to craft such a thing is heavily mitigated by finding the raw crafting materials. Hundreds of tons of adamantine, because if you're going to build something that big you've got to make it as tough as possible. Also, we're going to mount the eye of a very large astral dreadnought on its face.

We're here for a number of reasons. We need your skills in forging, and we need a significant amount of goldenfire. Our plan for the golem is two-fold. Firstly, it is an engine of destruction, pointed at the enemies of all that is Good in the planes. Secondly, I've got the beginnings of a design for a device I call a sunfire engine. Using this device, I intend for the golem to physically bear the power of Lathander back onto Lifasa and hopefully break the devils' hold over the sky.

What do you think?'

"I see." Latha regards all of you carefully, "I presume the Dawnlord has given his approval of this, before anything else?"

"Nope! We're here to ask!" Calleigh chips in.

'We thought it would go better if we had things planned out first.' Tryll finishes. 'Demonstrate our commitment.'

"Get his approval first. If it's his will and Alicia and Syala agree to it, I will aid you," Latha says.

"From my understanding, he tends to appear where he pleases in his realm, correct?" Moore asks. "Therefore, we should simply Gate there and I'm sure he'll turn up?"

Anastasia

"Essentially," Latha says, "He will find you as he finds you. Such is Lathander's way."

Pitstop back at Aurora for the arch buffs just in case (and if Bubbles and Westwind would rather stay there) and then use the Aurora Gate to go to... uh... you know I don't actually know. Wherever it is!

Yes. Moore will just make the Gate for the House of Nature, nowhere in particular. He knows how this works.

The party steps out, standing in a sunny field. It's noon and warm without being hot, the air clear and without much humidity to bother you. It's like a good spring day, grasses growing tall but not too tall, wild but not too wild.

Calleigh takes off laughing, cutting her way through the grass and terrorizing small wildlife.

'The last time we were here, we simply wandered until we found a town, and the residents pointed us toward Lathander.' Tryll tells the group.

"That seems to be the way most are handled." Moore agrees as he follows along Calleigh's general direction.
