Taking the mods from their sheets and adding +2 from Iddy's dragon int booster.

Slowly, the nine sigils begin to burn. Chanting and invocations, setting it just so. Balyss is relentless as the light of the room grows brighter and brighter, pulses of power becoming more rapid.

"NOW!" Balyss calls in a terrible voice, "Put on a sigil and concentrate on the ritual! Concentrate with all you have! You too Tryll, trust me, it'll work!"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Moore will pick up whichever sigil he happened to end up in front of and put it on!

Ebiris

Afina picks up her designated sigil and dons it, ignoring the hateful feel of the diabolic arcana against her as she concentrates her will on the ritual, mentally reciting the same chants and invocations Balyss has been putting forward.

Corwin

Jaela slips her sigil onto her ring finger, bracing against the pain! If she has to call on magic to keep herself supernaturally focused on the ritual, then that's what her training was all about!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Flames. As all of you put on rings, flames burn. Your bodies burn with infernal flames, all of the sigils testing you, burning you bright.

<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 74 > [d6=3,2,5,2,3,4,4,5,5,1,3,2,1,4,6,6,6,1,6,5]

Concentration checks, all. The fire damage ignores resistance/immunity like hellfire.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.

Perform instead of Concentration due to Melodic Casting. Don't ask how this actually works, I sure don't know.

Fire. Fire and pain and fire. Fire. Hell's fire.

How long you all burn you do not know, but Aurora holds the course one last time.  The sigils grow unbearably hot - until they shatter, one by one. The flames die out as light becomes all, a sensation of rushing ahead, being pulled - into the leylines, into the energy itself. Live.

Flying, moving.

A blink of the eye.

You stand on Lifasa's broken surface, the hellscape sky red. Before you is a vast battle, Aurora holding on one last time. Many times have we sought the answer in conflict.

It is enough.

The sky is the first thing. The hellfire red begins to fade, like an infected wound slowly healing. The devils and their minions cry out in alarm as the land begins to glow. Radiant pulses of power stream out, the cracked ground healing before your eyes. This is not the answer, but it is a victory - an important one.

Sunshine.

The light of the sun is seen at last, blue sky returning as grass grows and the devils simply break. Like glass statues tossed to the hard ground, while devil minions melt away before your eyes. Grass, trees, life grows in instants. Spreading, growing, pulsing throughout you and within you. Live, Lifasa.

You feel it - the life of the planet pulsing through you, in perfect harmony with your heartbeats. It is erratic at first but soon syncs up, as before you the scars of Hell fade away.

You've done it.

Lifasa is saved at last. Amen.

All of you gain the following ability:

Lifasa's Gratitude (Su)

As the saviors of an entire world, the land itself will always protect you. Whenever you are on Lifasa, you gain the following benefits:

- An enhancement bonus to all ability scores equal to 1/2 of your hit dice.
- Fast healing 20, does not stack with other sources of fast healing.
- Temporary hit points equal to your maximum hit points. You cannot gain more temporary hit points than these while on Lifasa, so you are at no risk of death. These hit points vanish if you leave Lifasa. If part or all are lost, they regenerate after one minute.
- You are treated as natives of Lifasa and never cause spiritual wounds on Lifasa, in the event you are a creature that can cause them.

Letting Gae Buidhe return to storage, Jaela sinks to her knees, laughing. Even she had doubts that the world could be healed rather than whisked away to heaven, but this is proof of their success. They really did it!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Ebiris

Seeing Aurora still besieged, Afina rallies herself already preparing to enter battle again... but there's no need. Before her eyes it happens, the wounds on the world are healed, the tide of Hell is rolled back, the devils unmade.

She feels the heartbeat of the world pulse through her, a primal connection with the world she sacrificed her sylvan self for, felt more keenly than any connection with nature she had in the past.

Luminiscent tears trickle down her cheeks as she allows herself to cry tears of joy, that all the fighting, and pain, and sacrifice really was for something, their long Crusade at last victorious. She drops do the ground and kicks her shoes off, feeling the soil on her toes and simply crying out her joy, letting it course through her.
