The sooner they'll get there, the better, as far as Jaela is concerned. So long as Balyss continues to indicate they need to head down, Jaela doesn't intend to fight the current. Instead, she keeps an eye on the diviner priestess and tries to keep everyone in one group as they are drawn further below.

With no one resisting, the entire party hurries on down. Into the dark waters, deeper and deeper - until you see it, 40ft below. The space opens up for a vast kraken, countless tentacles going in all directions. You're being swept right towards it! It is black toned and with huge tentacles, foul waters surrounding it like a mantle.
