So... other creatures can't be affected during time stop. So time-stopped devils would be safe from having damage deflected onto them?

"It shortens things a lot, but I expect you're used to that," Alicia retorts, figuring she's got no choice but to focus on defeating Glasya now. But... she recalls Taelfagn's last battle, the reports she read of it. If Glasya is using a similar method to avoid injury, she's just signed her own death warrant.

The next thing that happens is Alicia looms over Glasya and the stilled battlefield of Avernus, her sword whirling down to slice into the Lord of Hell over and over much as happened to Lixer. Only this time she front-loads her assault rather than holding it back.

Glasya is like smoke - impossible to touch, blurring as your blade comes close to dodge. You can't lay a hand on her - until you channel pure holy power into it. That is enough for one moment, a slash across her face. Her dress glows as she glares, the wound mostly healed in an instant, just a few droplets of blood marring her face.
