Stepping back after her sole hit of that exchange, Alicia whips her sword out of her hand and sends it whirling through Lixer's avatar and his entourage of liches in a final attempt to clear them out of her way!

This time Alicia steps back, body burning with unholy energies. She braces and hurls her blade, holy energies coruscating through it. Bonds flies through the avatar of Lixer's middle, cutting it in half. Both halves fall to the ground, bursting into green hellfire. They burn away in instants as the liches are overwhelmed, a single black robe left behind by the avatar. You did it!

A moment later the ground begins to quake, the temperature dropping a hundred degrees in an instant. Dark, thick clouds are starting to form in the air above as...

"A truly impressive avatar, Lixer! All the moreso for how you shouldn't have even had time to make one!" Alicia calls out as her titanic blade returns to her hand. "How does it feel to lose it, though?"

'Clear the fodder around us Latha, worse is yet to come.'

'We good?' Seira sends to Alicia and Sulia.

'We're holding,' Sulia sends, 'But we're busy! Good, Alicia, keep pressing him!'

'Lixer's avatar is slain, he'll have felt that,' Alicia's telepathic voice sends, rich with satisfaction. 'After clearing the current area we'll push on to the fortress itself.'

'I'll be waiting for you inside it,' Seira relays cheerfully.

[Anastasia]

'Do you need healing yet?' Latha asks.

[Anastasia]

'There is a complication,' Sulia sends, 'Donald and I are facing an avatar of Glasya, who has chosen to take the field. With her is Duke Malphas of Avernus, who is deploying some fashion of hellfire weapon.'

Well if Latha insists, she is fairly bruised up. 'Please!'

"Sun, heal us!" Latha prays, as healing energy washes over the two of you.

"Then PERISH!" Lixer's voice booms loud and powerfully, shaking the freezing hellscape before you. Beneath you the ground begins to crack wide open, Latha taking to the air as great rents appear. Below is a great sea of churning ice and green hellfire, countless within. The living dead, the damned who wail and gnash their teeth, the devils who torment them and all of Creation.  Hideous dragons as alive as they are dead, giants of dead flesh and living hatred. Nightmares and those condemned away from the light, burning and freezing at once. Those who cannot rest, will not rest and who will not repent. Hear me.

Ahead, Noir Jardin is growing darker, devils within rising up, as you glance the gate within breached, a glimpse of Seira standing amid a broken field of devils, the shattered toys of war gravestones for all that opposes her. But only a glance. Stand.

Empress Sulia and Donald fight, back to back still. They are surrounded by the broken bodies of the wicked, twin points of ever-glowing light amid the darkness. A woman, a dreadful thing that is both more and less than you can imagine, battles them with a blade of death while hellfire comes. But you only get a glimpse of them. This is your first test. In a tidal wave of ice and hellfire, the dead and the damned, a torrent comes forth, threatening to engulf both yourself and Latha.
