Quick note Iddy. You can only prepare a factotum spell once. So you can't have two heals memorized, just heads up. I'll assume Jarem healed himself in this case, as I'd forgotten that until someone pointed it out.

BTW, is there a roll or something I can do to get more info about what actually happened with the crystal? May wind up being relevant to negotiating with the Gith. I can come up with a few specific questions if need be.

Okay, so. For specifics.
1) I'm guessing the crystal was something similar to the ship's engine for plane-shifting and what-not?
2) Can I figure out if the frog-thing was connected to the crystal going bonkers?
3) What did the crystal actually do to cause everything to go distortion-y?

Correct on the first account.

You have no idea, but no evidence suggests it was connected.

It was responsible for planar travel for the ship. When intact and fully restored - and this is a stopgap FYI - it can plane shift the ship and everything on it.

What do you mean stopgap? Like, not going into extreme detail because it's a pain to do so, or the one on the ship isn't functioning or something?

The dimensional anchors stopped the distortions and problems, but it's more like putting duct tape over a gaping crack. It works, but it's not a long term solution.

Okay, so the crystal is still broken, just contained/stabilized. Gotcha. Should be it for questions at the moment.
