Yet the mists continue to swirl, a glance back as the party flies up.

"Anyone who sacrifices his own followers for a chance to strike the enemy doesn't deserve a chance to surrender!" Seira roars, fire raging around her in a hazy aura. "Perish, you fool!"

"You should have followed Guster's example, no more of our sufferance will you take advantage of," Alicia backs up Seira's sentiments.

"This wasn't us!" The man snaps, as the mist begins to gather and...!!!

The mist radiates overwhelming necromancy, transmutation and conjuration. It doesn't seem to be the mist itself is a spell, but simply radiates a vast deal of magic.

The man before you has black hair touched by gray and is wearing a stout breastplate with Yan-C-Bin's silver symbol on it. He has a scimitar on his belt, ignored for the moment as he focuses ahead. You both know him - Palave, a sometimes proxy of Yan-C-Bin. He's a loyal servant, a skilled cleric and a brutal warrior. He serves as a roaming fist of the faith, smashing enemies and dealing with problems. He's a unique outsider now, having once been mortal but ascended for seeing an entire empire fall to Yan-C-Bin's designs.

Chance to react if that matters, then Amaryl goes.

"Fine, we'll deal with the Silent Mist first," Alicia bites out. "Good opportunity for you to follow Guster after all, then," she adds to Palave.

Nothing immediately useful, to her regret. Maybe a dispel or dismissal?

Her eyes narrowing at Palave, Seira says ominously, "You're the proxy, aren't you?" She's already making enemies of the evil archomentals so having one of them hate her extra hard wouldn't be a big deal.

[Anastasia]

"Nothing's working," Palave calls back, voice harsh, annoyed. "Healing nor force has any effect, nor lightning and thunder!"

Amaryl frowns a moment, in consideration. 'Seira, any idea?'

[Corwin]

'A truce for now, then,' Seira thinks reluctantly to Amaryl. Between Alicia's offer and Palave's apparent cooperation it would be boorish to keep at it, and he does seem sincere.

"Immune to healing, force, cold, fire, lightning and thunder, and even to divine power," she quickly counts off. "Green mist corroding with acid, negative energy and poison. Manifested on the celestial battlefield of Ysgard. Living spell? Dismissal and dispel might be options, or all the spells negating it at once. Death ward and neutralize poison in tandem? Gale-force winds to disperse it? Gate to Vacuum?"
