"Three Seiras?" Donald shivers. "Still, those look good. Powerful, too, if I don't miss my guess."

"All past the 9th circle?" Elle watches, "You didn't aim small, did you? Can they be combined and is it worthwhile?"

"You realize there will be three of me whenever I manage another avatar, or if I form one from snow and ice, don't you?" Seira asks Donald with a half-lidded look. Elle's question makes her think, however. "Yeeees, technically the Majestic and Glorious Visages could be combined and have decent interactions. One provides fire, after all, and the other blesses it into goldenfire. But I think that any cleric of mine that feels the need to draw on two thirds of my essence might as well pray for divine intervention. I could just proxy her if it's that important. As for the Draconic Visage, I actually made it with Kascha in mind. She likes dragons but isn't one, so it could be just the experience she needs. And if she decides she likes it, I could turn her into one later, when a good chance for rewards comes up."

"Clearly," Donald retorts, " I need to make my own avatars somehow."

Elle pointedly ignores that whole side show and listens to you. "I talked to Kascha about that not long ago, actually. I don't think she'll bite on a transformation, she sees herself as an eladrin much too strongly. She spent so long as part of Arborea, I think it comes down to that."

"They fit, you know? Divine power and draconic blood? Still, it's a pretty powerful spell, and she's my second choice for a recipient. You're the first, of course," Seira says, muttering after, "Even though you follow Mystra."

Snapping her fingers, she tells Donald, "That reminds me, Lathander is okay with me poaching you. He said it's about time and all that. I like him a lot, why don't I spend more time chatting with him, again?"

Donald makes a show of thinking about it. "Because Amaryl does things with her tongue that Lathander doesn't?" he says, completely honestly. After a few moments, "The way she can talk to you is unreal, the two of you are so good together."

Elle facepalms, burying her face in both hands.

Actually, given Lathander, Seira is sure he's more than capable of anything he sets his mind on doing, and that covers a large and diverse group of topics.

Saying any of that out loud is just begging for things to devolve, however, and she sends the trio of spells closer to Elle with a wave of her hand before summoning two more and beckoning Donald over. "I don't know whether you could learn them, though I might reward you with one if you do something really great that symbolizes me in one of those three ways I've chosen. It's a built-in divine limitation, so I can't just hand it out otherwise. Still! You wanted to come up with a useful spell, and I figured Flux Grasp might be good for that. I've recently made Blazing Radiance with it as the inspiration." Pulling her hands apart, she extends the links between the various parts of the spells to expose the similar core in both. "What do you think? Can you manage either? How about getting the inspiration for that spell of yours? The base concept should be within your grasp."

Donald studies them a little while, thinking. "Yeah, yeah I think so," he says, "I can see how Blazing Radiance would work, and I think I could cobble together Flux Grasp. Yeah!" Nodding now, firmly, "I see it, I think I can."

Blazing Radiance is already a duskblade spell but remind me about Flux Grasp when level ups come around. I don't wanna pause session to take the time to make it a duskblade spell right this sec, so punting with a nod towards that later.

No problem.

"Excellent!" Seira cheers. "Also, I think I heard something about how you were discussing making a spell of your own while I was trying to sneak past Lixer? Wanna get my input on that?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Sure," Donald says, "I'm still debating the name, got any ideas?"

"Pyroclasm Grasp wasn't bad," Seira muses. "Maybe Pyroclastic Catharsis, to return the holy aspects to it? Or Pyroclasm Baptism, to preserve the touch aspects?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Let's stick with the first," Donald finally says, "I like that one, keep names simple."

"Simple, huh? Then just go with Pyroclasm Smash!"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Right," Donald says, "So let's see, holy fire touch. That's the idea," Donald finally says. "The problem is I don't really work with holy magic.  I'm hoping to find some way or another around it. Suggestions?"

Elle says, "Well, that can be hard if you're an arcane student rather than a priest, but I know Seira's been working in that general area."

"Cauldron Smash?" Seira goes on to suggest. "That kind of flows, plus all this home pride!"

As Donald's question refocuses her, she purses her lips. "It's been occupying my mind, which went to how metamagic was adjusting mortal magic to shape it into all manner of desired forms, and how both mortal and transcendent metamagic options turned your arcane spells holy-- and then it hit me! Sanctification! You've heard of such spells, I trust? They carry a sacrificial component, but aside from that you could design a spell that doesn't take an archon to activate and then you're golden! Even literally, if you draw inspiration from goldenfire!"

Talking past Donald as she catches Elle's eye, Seira voices, "With Donald it's got to be a sacrifice of wisdom, won't you agree?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Oh, that's perfect," Donald hums, "I'd have to reform the spell patterns of course and use different names, but it should work."
