Seira goes to mingle! And to see how Alicia's followers are celebrating this momentous event!

[Anastasia]

The people outside are talking - it's easy to hear the various conversations. A few examples:

"I can't believe it - I met her, once. Stern, strong, but not...that." An old man says.

A younger woman adds, "It's another blessing on our city. She'll protect us for sure."

A middle aged man, well dressed and considering, "It's only natural. The Baronies will grow and expand. We have the blessings of the divine."

[Corwin]

Sounds like things are doing well! And thus reassured, Seira seeks out Abagail!

[Anastasia]

Abagail is in her home - a private estate not far into the Western Reaches. It is fenced in, a narrow building with three stories, almost like a tower that couldn't quite cut it. Oddly, you notice there's a pen full of cows in the acres beyond it, as well as a barn.

"Seira," Abagail greets you warmly. "Welcome, welcome."

[Corwin]

"Thanks! How's things?" Seira asks, making the introductions with Oraga.

[Anastasia]

Oraga merely looms behind you, Abagail giving him a short look. Inside it's all clutte r- scrolls and books, beakers and shelves, runes and diagrams, floating brooms and flying dustpans. Yet it's all organized neatly, smoothly.

"Well. Between my magic, my duties and my hobbies, I'm always working on something worthwhile."

[Corwin]

"And how are those?" Seira inquires. "Your magic, your duties and your hobbies?"

[Anastasia]

"Excellent all around. To start with the easiest - I've taken to making my own cheeses as a hobby, after one of my summons found it adored cheese," Abagail leads you deeper in, through a larger room still stacked with things, and out to the back. Here you can see hundreds of cows, workers tending to them. "Barony Blue and Barony Redrind, cream and fresh cheeses, aged cheeses as well." She gestures out at them, "It's rewarding, to take something with your own two hands and make something worthwhile from it."

[Corwin]

"I won't leave without a sample for Amaryl~"

[Anastasia]

Leading you back inside now, "I work with the Guard as needed, often helping Eudard with mystical matters. He's a strong blade and a pious one, but he'll never be an arcane savant." A smile crosses her face, "Of course, the bindings and summonings I manage can cover that, but not as well as he can."

[Corwin]

"Sounds like you compliment him," Seira notes, glancing at Abagail sideways. "Is it just professional between you two, or should I offer my congratulations?"

[Anastasia]

"It's nothing like that," Abagail shakes her head softly, "Eudard is married to his duties. Perhaps in his next life, but not this one. I think it could work, but I do not press it when I know it to be folly."

[Corwin]

"It takes all kinds," Seira agrees. "He always was wound tightly. Any other prospects?"
