"I think one time it helped me when a marilith couldn't true seeing through my mirror image," Alicia says. "But otherwise it was as over-hyped and stuck-up a magical item as I've ever used."

Actually considering how long it's been since she really looked at it? Alicia studies the ring of eternal celerity with an intent gaze, pushing past its magical defences to see if it ever really was anything more than a ring of nondetection with delusions of grandeur.

There's a deep reserve of power within it - dormant, resting by and large. A mind as well that watches you. It doesn't react, but you have a distinct sense is it watching you, secured deep away within the ring.

[Ebiris]

Well it can stay dormant, she'll put it in her portable hole for now. "I'll give the ring of wishes to Jessica and the rest we'll just store away. Otherwise we'll just wait till Seira's ready so we can go get Zariel sorted."

[Anastasia]

"Let's," Antenora agrees.

Anything to do while you wait, or shall you simply see what happens?

Just wait, can't really start anything new right now, hopefully Seira won't be long.

[Anastasia]

One fragment to knock out while we wait.

As you prepare, Latha enters your room. "Alicia," she greets, "Congratulations. May I have a moment of your time?"

"Of course Latha, what is it?" Alicia asks, turning away from Syala's garden.

It would be quite nice to have that icon in here and really smell the roses, but best not.

[Anastasia]

"Has there been process in identifying the other three groups spoken of, beyond our group and Seira's group?" Latha asks, coming to stand before you. She sniffs the air, "Syala's roses are lovely. Has she been adjusting them again?"

[Ebiris]

"She was in here earlier, she usually does," Alicia answers. "And no. Shar has many enemies of course but I don't know that any have developed any unique status as we have."

[Anastasia]

A soft sight at that, "Soon, I hope. I want to meet them, to see how we can be forged together in this great ordeal and greater task. I fear and wonder how much time we have, as events begin to move faster."

[Ebiris]

"Mmm, if Shar didn't keep everything so segmented it might be worth asking Emmaline if she's heard of any new enemies causing trouble, but one hand typically won't know where the other is among her followers. Only Shar herself would know," Alicia hums, not so much bothered by it herself. She's made allies of her own that she feels comfortable relying on without needing to worry about what people she hasn't met are doing.

[Anastasia]

"Troubling," Latha says, "Still, it may be worth asking. I believe I'll do just that and see how she's doing." Taking to wing and air, "Congratulations to Marie, too."

[Ebiris]

"I'm sure you'll see her soon, she has lots to show off," Alicia says before shaking her head in an amused fashion. "And it'll put off having to go to Mechanus for her."

[Anastasia]

"How fortunate for her," Latha smiles back, "I'm sure she'll survive, even so."
