Meanwhile Marie is spending quality time with Antenora! "So I suppose after you do your part for Zariel we'll need to all spend a while helping her get caught up and settled and not being crazy and evil, right? Should keep us pretty busy I imagine," the freshly promoted tulani says, her voice like music.

[Anastasia]

Antenora has an arm around Marie, looking out at the sky. "If this works. If she can be reached and saved. If there's anything left to save." Antenora's voice is heavy, "Not that I doubt the power of redemption, but by rights her very soul should be torn asunder. Filling it with the power of an evil proxy's spark, who knows what that will bring." Softer now, "I haven't expressed these doubts to anyone else. I pray we succeed here, that Zariel can be saved and restored, but I brace myself to otherwise."

"I was going to make a joke about having uncharitable thoughts towards mortals now that I'm a high rank celestial - you never hear about fallen courres - but I suppose it'd be in bad taste," Marie sighs and leans her head on Antenora's shoulder. "Still, I'm optimistic. Zariel's whole fall and that mess with Torm, it's all Daa-vid's fault rather than so much being a moral failing. What was done can be undone."

[Anastasia]

"Until the end of time," Antenora murmurs. Her hand goes up, gently stroking Marie's hair as she rests on her. "But I'm One now. Doubts are for passing moments. Besides, I have to set an example for you. You'll become One one day." Keeping her voice low, almost a whisper, "You're coming with us Marie, even if I have to shake it out of Ao until he begs for mercy."

"You just work on becoming a fine goddess like Alicia and Syala first," Marie says, a warm smile on her lips. "I'll catch up when I'm ready."

[Anastasia]

"Oh really?" Antenora smiles right back, "On your own time, your own way at your own pace? Some sort of...mmm....chaotic self indulgence, hm?" Ruffling Marie's hair, "Don't wait too long. I know you, Marie, and you can represent something that will make Creation all the more wonderful."

[Ebiris]

Her hair is very pleasant to ruffle at least, all silky and smooth. "I do my best!" she smiles. "Speaking of making Creation more wonderful, we should go visit Arborea sometime. There's a pond full of stuck up nymphs I want to splash."

[Anastasia]

"As long as it's a moral lesson and not you simply showing off," Antenora says, but relents as she laughs softly. "But yes, that would be enjoyable. Hopefully the lesson we left them before has sunk in."

Marie puffs out her cheeks in a moue of discontent. "I'm not sure I'll like the inevitable ugly duckling comparisons if I turn it into a lesson."

[Anastasia]

This gets a dry smirk from Antenora, "Oh well, we can work out something. If they're willing to make those, I'm sure we can further educate them on goodness and politeness."

"It was just a thought anyway," Marie says, shrugging against Antenora. "Zariel first. Then Mechanus I suppose."
