The weakened boundaries are mended, but a dispel evil lis needed to cease the tide of vermin.

You also note that the rate of insect gathering seems to have been augmented, the spiritual wounds summoning insects far and wide as much as other outsiders.

Alicia certainly isn't walking into that chaotic maelstrom!

"Marie, I need you to be my familiar again for a moment," she says, making that happen and then giving her a dispel evil to hold the charge on. "Discharge it at the centre of the rift, please."

"Can do!" Marie chirps, walking ahead through the maws of chaos without being touched before she discharges the dispel evil into the rift.

Chaotic subtype makes her immune to Maw of Chaos.

"We still need to find someone who can give us an idea where Allema's gone. Lets secure the rest of the cathedral."

Hopefully it wasn't just the swarm, the nycaloth, and that one thing she silver fired to death.
