"All of those are tricky. We don't have much in the way of those things as an island. Whatever we do, we need to be careful to keep it sustainable. Fishing has always been good to us, we need to make sure we can keep it going indefinitely. Mineral, mining, and forestry... We'll have to trade or find another solution for, likely. We'll be able to do some forestry, depending on how much land we end up with. We'll have to consider looking to the oceans around us for valuable materials to trade for. I know some places like coral for jewelry and sculpture and inlays... It's something to consider tapping our future druids for. If we strip everything, then we'll be left with nothing in the long run. We might consider putting teams together to range into other planes. Earth, a nature plane, Mineral. All of that will require steps to ensure we don't anger the locals, though."

[Anastasia]

"Yes, ma'am." Lorathana pauses, "It seems we need a druid more than ever."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Honestly, we should have had one long ago. Clerics too. Entire branches of magic left completely stagnant and we claim to be a magical research entity. Even if we focus on the Arcane, knowledge is knowledge. We could likely figure out a way to replicate some of the divine spells through arcane power if we had access to that sort of knowledge."

[Anastasia]

"Of course, ma'am," Lorathana says, "Shall I clear your schedule for this goal?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Maybe not clear, but certainly make space. I'm sure once we get the documents and proposal written up, the council members will positively flood my schedule with questions and meetings to clarify some inane detail or for position. Politics. If only I could magic that away entirely."

[Anastasia]

If you think that's enough feeling out hand-wave the documents for the proposal, then I guess either work on finding druids or trying to find work/place for the family. Maybe a thing with them doing some basic testing to see if they have any unknown talents for stuff. Waiting for the proposal until Jarem gets back with the raise island spell.
