"Some came from the wisdom of the Holy Mountain." Moore explains. "The improvisation one I just managed to create after studying the base version for a while."

"Really? I've heard of that spell but never seen an improved version. Could you provide us a copy of it? It would be a worthy addition, though admittedly those of bardic talents are more likely to go to Arborea." A frown as Allashatu rubs his chin, fingers turning to claws, one black claw long enough for him to gnaw on.

[Nephrite]

"I'd be happy to. I have another one I developed but it doesn't really fall under diplomatic means. I'd be happy to provide it nonetheless." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

"Please," Is the reply you get, looking up from his gnawing. "Anything like that would be appreciated, we collect useful spells from all over."

[Nephrite]

"Oh!" Moore blurts out as he takes out the scroll of Syllen's Switch.

"Let me copy this one too." He says. "It's a bit of a long story as to how I came into this one."

full disclosure since I think this came up with Gold in B3, Moore doesn't have the epic skill to make scrolls of high level magic, but I assume we can just hand wave that.

The spells are dutifully taken and studied, this takes some time. "Ah, a good day," Allashatu declares, putting down his quill. "New magic to be remembered and used throughout the ages ahead."

"If I come across any more, I'll be sure to let you know." Moore assures him. "Other than Humble Words, can you tell me of any further spells you might be able to think of that I might be able to make use of?"

luck to the skill itself, competence from equipment, sacred to charisma, morale to the skill itself, uhhh insight to the skill too, I think divine insight isn't sacred bonus

Here you go, had to rewrite it. Spell-level wise it's an odd spell to say the last.

Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

Humble words negates all bonuses to Charisma based skill checks except for those from skill ranks and the target's Charisma score. The caster is automatically affected by this spell. A Will save negates, though the save suffers a -1 penalty for each bonus that would be negated by humble words.

In the meantime as you're handed a scroll, "Let me know what you think of that first."

Moore rubs his chin.

"I understand the purpose behind this." Moore says with a nod. "I don't think I could manage to utilize this where we're going to be going, but it's certainly a spell that I could see as having some very select applications."

[Anastasia]

"Yes," Allashatu says, going to gnaw on a claw again. "As always, stubbornness and willpower is the greatest enemy of it, much like the spoken word."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods.

"Yes, I imagine so. It's usually why I just find myself augmenting my own ability, rather than attempting to have something stick on an opponent. Although generally speaking, diplomacy isn't so much slinging spells as it is words." A smile and a laugh after that.
