[Anastasia]

"It exists, of course, as well as countermeasures," Allashatu explains, "Are you familiar with those?"

[Nephrite]

Moore shakes his head. "I don't have much experience except with my wn."

[Anastasia]

Sorry, this didn't light up for whatever reason. I caught it relatively quickly at least.

"The gold standard is Humble Words, but it also has a drawback or two," A soft growl follows at that, and momentarily you see a lion's tail behind him, swishing back and forth into view.

[Nephrite]

"Is that something you could share more details of? I have a moderate ability to cast both arcane and divine spells to the 9th circle, if that helps narrow things down." Moore says.

A glance down at the tail before he smiles again.

[Anastasia]

"I can," The lion-like creature says, glancing back. "Ah. This form is not my natural one, my tail has a mind of its own," he says, a faint note of embarrassment in his voice. "By birth I am a Lammasu."

[Nephrite]

Moore lets out a merry laugh. "It must've been a challenge to work with scrolls before. I once met a succumbed working as an administrative assistant that did something similar." He says with a grin. "I admit my curiosity was going to get the better of me by the end of our conversation but didn't want to be rude."

[Anastasia]

Auto correct is a cruel mistress.

"Mrr," A decidedly feline noise follows at that before, "Now then, where we were?"

[Nephrite]

"Let's start with Humble Words." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

"Humble Words attempts to negate all the various means to improve charismatic presence and speech," The Lammasu begins to explain, "Powerful but it can be resisted and it renders you incapable of using those means yourself."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "How about things that allow you to better sense the truth of others' words or to see through bluffs?"

[Anastasia]

"Those aren't affected, which makes discerning lies and motives easier," Is the answer you get.

[Nephrite]

Moore nods.

"I imagine we won't be able to cast anything whil were there, so is there anything you can suggest for additional aid? I would be curious to study Humble Words also, if possible."

[Anastasia]

"I'll have a scroll provided," The Lammasu says, "Could you tell me what spells you use for this?"

[Nephrite]

"Righteous Halo, Greater improvisation, Surge of Hope." Moore says. "I am going to cast them so you can see them for yourself if you're unfamiliar with them."

And so he does just that!

[Anastasia]

The spells are studied, "Remarkable - where did you get those spells, Duke?"
