Jetina dodges the heat haze, semi-solid barriers trying to stop her as she comes closer. A screaming cry, a man's gurgling lament of, "Mother!" Loud at first, but fading by the last, a death cry heard but unseen.

Amid this he emerges. An efreet, bloodied but intact, armor torn and broken. Segments of surviving chain cling to a leather underpadding, red-orange blood staining it. He has a single scimitar, face shadowed by an open faced helmet that shows a too wide smile. He emerges from the twisting haze, very roughly 30ft away from you and...

No one important. Hearth is a fairly common efreet last name, all for commoners. Interesting trivia: The name came from a handful of early efreet who were given that name by mortals, and over the ages it stuck as a common last name.

Kaja runs along the dragon's neck and back, blades flashing as he dodges its wings. Great gouts of burning lava burst out in the aftermath of torn scales and ruined wings, the wyrm crying out as it bleeds, beginning to tumble down, wings shredded. Kaja ends it all by leaping off, landing in the solid air and momentarily save, the wyrm falling - and the heat haze shifts, the wyrm coming down right at you and the efreet!

Ref save. Somehow you always get dragons dropped on you.
