Shanazel looks up with a look of disdainful fury, but can do nothing as the magic missiles slam home - and a moment later all is a nova of hate and fury, an explosion ripping through everything anew.

Marie's probably pretty far away from him. She might not be since I didn't specify, but her magic missiles have long range and he's probably closer to her decoy than him.

This time Marie's knocked back again, arms thrown up to shield herself. That one stings, but she's okay, she thinks. Hurting but nothing more.

The demons had a back up plan. I neutralized it.

There's only a few straggling, wounded and dazed demons left in the camp. The camp itself is mostly blasted and ruined, portal suspended and tents ablaze, supplies broken.

Downside, in the various caves demons peer out, more and more starting to spill out.

[Ebiris]

She really needs a version of the amazing barrage that can hunt down things in caves or buildings! Either way Marie's decoy starts flying towards the caves and flinging righteous smites at the demons, enjoying the diversion before enough realise it's an illusion and bring some sort of order to the ranks.

Not that it'll actually stop them, as the ones out here discovered.

Marie prays back to Jessica. 'I'm strong and able, fighting at this level doesn't tax me at all.'

A moment later, a bellowing roar shakes the entire valley like a leaf in the wind.

Good, because we have a problem.

Marie flies back up into the air now to look around while her decoy stands still and blasts more demons brave enough to stick their heads up.

Amid all the demonic caves, one is glowing an ugly, bloody red color. From it the following emerges: A great titan, rail thin and ready to snap. It is nude and you can count each of his ribs, skin so tight as to show each one precisely. It walks stooped and each step is a stumble, yet somehow it never falls. For on his back are countless hundreds, humanoid creatures on its back like an infestation, melded into the flesh of his back. Each and every one of them leans as close to the titan's ears as they can, whispering horrid, profane things to it. Things your mind recoils from and that you refuse to hear, that some instinct in your mind screams at you not to listen.

The titan's face is a rigid grimace, going on and on and on despite this. It looks on at you with eyes as empty as Shar's heart.
