Does the balor have anything protecting against negative levels that I can see with greaterr arcane sight?

Also how spread out is the rain? For reference Marie is currently about 100 feet away from her decoy on the ground and about 50 feet in the air.

Shanazel has the following active: Epic Mage Armor, Voice of the Dragon, Extended Death Ward, Unholy Aura and Violet's Champion.

So Death Ward. Violet's Champion looks like it bestows greatly increased combat ability and defenses through an unholy pact.

Marie's decoy throws a superb dispelling at the balor just as her repeated magic missiles all fly off at him, while Marie herself casts a quickened superior invisibility to ensure these countermeasures don't spot her.

While her decoy stands tall where it is, Marie flies straight down to ground level and ducks under a convenient large rock!

Any knowledge or spellcraft to know what the hell that was? She can take 10 for 57 on arcana, religion, nature, planes, and spellcraft where applicable
