You rest back a few moments after the work, Xandra putting down her book. "Progress for a grand cause," Xandra says.

"Yes, we're almost a third of the way, actually." Moore says. "I wonder if someone like Oghma would have some insight on this sort of thing..."

"So he may," Xandra says, "Perhaps we can go or one of our higher placed allies can ask directly?"

"Let's see if there have been any developments at Hope's Landing, and if not, we can go to the House of Knowledge." Moore says.

The trip back to Hope's Landing is without incident.

"It's fairly quiet except for trading," Grias says, "They're setting up a trading post outside in earnest now, especially with plunder from the battle floating around."

Moore nods. "Perfect. We're going to be visiting the House of Knowledge for some time, but please contact us if anything arises." Moore says.

Take 10 on K:R for 94 (or K:P for 91, if more appropriate) -- Moore did manage to find Oghma that time before but this time he'd like to actually go to the House of Knowledge proper and do some research to see if there's anything there that may give him insight.

He isn't sure what the protocols are for going there, i.e. if it's customary to bring a gift of knowledge or what have you, so if there are he'd like to follow those customs.

Are you going as a mere traveler or in a more diplomatic role?

[Nephrite]

Hmmm. At this point, it's probably best to go in a more diplomatic role, unless I have reason to believe with the war going on that it might cause more problems.

In that case, a gift of knowledge or some kind is good diplomatic manners, yes. As well as going through Celestia's embassy there.
