"They're amazing," Ranbar says, voice slow, awed. "So much is known to me now, magic I never imagined before."

[Corwin]

"You know, how would you like to put that knowledge to the test?" Seira muses out loud. "I need to clean up someone's mess on a Prime. A demon prince-worshipping sahuagin cult. Since Donald is bored, perhaps he could show you how these things go?"

[Anastasia]

"Yes, Lady Seira," Ranbar says, "I'd be honored."

Donald gets up, "That's the spirit," he says, giving you a look. "Go on, I'll meet you outside."

[Corwin]

"We'll talk more later," Seira promises. "There is a lot to discuss."

In Donald's mind, she says, No heroics, call on me if there is real danger.

[Anastasia]

Donald nods slightly. 'You know what this means, don't you?'

[Corwin]

Seira gives him a nod, but rather than respond she sends him the same information she had shown Xera earlier.

And as she waits for them to leave, she addresses Gond, Would it be possible to introduce a playmate to Elyssa?

[Anastasia]

Which information, just to be clear?

[Corwin]

The sahuagin quest, what Emily has seen there, the location of the village. That should be enough for Donald and Ranbar to figure out the rest, but if they get stuck I will use bullshit divinations on their behalf.

[Anastasia]

Okay, wanted to make sure you weren't reading her into the greater Emily stuff. Got it.

"Yeah, I got it," Donald says, "Hey Seira, this means you're getting even more contagious, aren't you?"

[Corwin]

Seira doesn't dignify that with a response, merely waiting patiently on Gond.

[Anastasia]

Well, well, Seira! I didn't expect to hear from you again so soon. Now what's that about?

[Corwin]

Are you familiar with Sylvie's son? Oghma's follower, bearer of 21, erstwhile of Aurora? She empowered her son before she hid herself away upon Lifasa's liberation, and it occurs to me that both he and and Elyssa might enjoy meeting others like them. Childlike and wise beyond their years, driven towards greatness.

[Anastasia]

Well, that depends. Is he any good at building things?

[Corwin]

Calley is supernaturally good at everything. In fact, giving him some direction would do him a great deal of good, and building something enduring with his hands and mind may be just the thing!

[Anastasia]

Let me look at him and decide. It sounds like a good idea - and that's exactly why I'm going to observe him first. Measure twice, cut once.
