Over a dozen birds disintegrate at once, vaporized down to the last. A hunk around you is now gone, an open space free of the jeweled constructs. With a big gap in the horde, Emily flies forward.

Bastian's going to hang back since it's a spell fest here and he's a melee slugger.

"I can do that," Emily agrees, quickly flying back.
