Well, that takes care of that. The entire front before you is gone, revealing rooms. Some rooms richly decorated, slightly less opulent halls, a kitchen, that manner of thing. It's all wide open - and not a hint of a single servant or warrior to oppose you.

Jarem and Emily are at your side, "Do you think they fled?" Emily asks.

"It's possible," Jarem remarks as you all go forward. "I doubt glorified bankers are interested in a fight to the death."

Bastian flies along with you, slowly cracking his knuckles, "There's always a sunnier road than the one you're on. They're wise to realize that if they did run."

"If," Ianvasah says, "They may be preparing a more serious counter attack within."

"Good," Emily says, "We can bring them all to justice then." She smiles brightly, "As we should!"

Alyssa responds with the link, 'It's surely a trap of some sort. That Inevitable who spoke before isn't the sort to simply leave."

'We did crush some absurdly powerful defenses,' Bastian counters, 'Running would be the logical choice.'

Meanwhile Jarem keeps his guard up, advancing on and in.

'Act as if they haven't. The first half of the fight went their way, they won't forget that. Let's move and get control for sure. Then we can start the casting.'

You wander about. The outer areas are all living spaces, offices, viewing rooms for treasure, that manner of things. Impressive, though some rooms have parts missing - the occasional statue or gilded thing. All of it leads to one door in the north, that leads into the center. This door is of solid metal and has an engraving on it. It reads as follows.
