Alicia takes Latha's hand in hers and squeezes it. 'She lied though. Nothing she says can be trusted.'

[Anastasia]

"She's right," Latha speaks it aloud, Antenora glancing over. "I'm not...not now. Right now I'm not strong enough. I need to improve myself, strengthen myself. As I am now, I'm not enough."

[Ebiris]

"That's true for all of us," Marie says, looking over as well. "Hang in there, Latha. We'll keep training and fighting so we get stronger."

"From what I saw of the avatar fighting Seira, I wouldn't have been able to compete," Alicia agrees. "But that's how it always is, we have a goal to strive for, to overcome."

[Anastasia]

"The road to Chronias winds on," Antenora quotes, getting a ghost of a smile from Latha.

'Alicia? Are you and yours well?' Empress Sulia's voice.

[Ebiris]

'Yes, we all made it out safely. Yours?' Alicia sends back, looking to see if Empress Sulia and company are here with them at the Gates of the Moon. The lack of returnees is getting a bit concerning.

[Anastasia]

They aren't in your immediate area.

'Yes,' Empress Sulia sends, 'Where are you?'

[Ebiris]

'The Gates of the Moon, where we met before departing earlier,' she replies.

"Hearing from Sulia now, they made it out okay," she says aloud.

[Anastasia]

'We will come to you, your location makes the most sense, dear' Sulia sends, 'Ah, Selune answers me, the wave swept those it took out of Shadow and to various locations. There is a great deal of reorganizing going on.'

[Ebiris]

'I'll see you in a moment then.'

"Apparently that last wave banished a lot of people out of Shadow and they're regrouping now, we should see other arrivals imminently," she says, with prompts Marie to run her fingers through her hair in an effort at fixing her appearance.

[Anastasia]

Latha doesn't bother, while Antenora smiles. A wave of divine will, fixing Marie's hair up perfectly, not a hair out of place, everything perfect and well done.

It is Seira who appears first. Ranbar carried, looking oh so very small. A dwarf is with them, armored and with open hints of fatigue as he follows.

Empress Sulia is battlestained but intact. She carries Martan, who is still and unresponsive, eyes closed.

Galya's bare body is splashed with splotches of drying black liquid and blood, some hers and some from who knows what. She walks with her head upright, but her expression is tight, tense.

The Imposing King is as he was before, only more touched by battle's ravages. He walks with the same patient energy as before, unbowed.

Antenora comes over, "How are they?"

Marie gets up as well while Alicia follows Antenora. "It's good to see you all who made it back," she says, a concerned look at Martan and Ranbar.

[Corwin]

"Ranbar got hit with the blindness curse, except it's got a mental despair component because it's fucking Shar," Seira says angrily. "Luneli died, but I'm hoping being a proxy saved him from Shar's soul-annihilation magic, and the spark didn't get stolen, at least. Nothing to do about either until Selune has time to look into things, so let's focus on Sulia for now." Turning towards the empress, she repeats her earlier question. "How can we help?"

[Anastasia]

"He will be," Empress Sulia promises softly, holding him. "I fear the same has taken Martan. Can you remove it?"

[Ebiris]

"I can try my song of freedom, but I'll need some help to boost it," Marie volunteers.

She can basically crank out a Break Enchantment at +43 but that won't beat a DC of 11 + Shar's CL. It's still probably the strongest base effect we have available here so if wishes/alter reality/miracles can add on bonuses to her roll it might work.

Seira shakes her head. "I've spent all my resources in fighting Shar's avatar off. Without them or Selune's support, no chance of it. I can only do what I had for Ranbar, and provide a dreamless slumber until Selune has a chance to stop by."
